With the return of Mizorogi, Negoro's quest for truth, and Jun's light fading, will Ultraman's battle end here?
Not by a long shot. Let's Watch Nexus 22-24!

Cheese and rice, I am so far behind! Still loving the show, but need to get myself caught up!

For once I'm ahead and this round of episodes was excellent.

They restored Jun just to off him... why! T_T
At least he took Mizorogi with him. A great set of episodes and defintely one of the strongest arcs in Nexus. Next time we'll see the debut of Junis Blue and a new Deunamist. Really excited. |

Wow, I totally called that ending, but i didn't think it would result with Mizurogi going too.and for once we got to see Nexus fight a battle without needing life support. some pretty believable acting this round, the story was captivating and made me watch them all in one go instead of pausing all the time. The fight at the end was awesome and I hope we get a few more of those as the series goes on. But really after giving Jun the power boost, i wasn't expecting him to be offed, seems like a strange choice to me, Oh well hope the next guy is more interesting to watch.

A very interesting trio of episodes. The apocalypse monster was really creepy with the screaming ghostly faces on its body. I'm glad Jun finally realized that being Ultraman wasn't a punishment, and that he was meant to be a hero. I liked that while the guys who rescued Negoro looked like urband legend crazies on the surface, but in reality they knew the truth as well. Seeing Jun go out in a blaze of glory was great, especially since he took Mizorogi with him. And next week we meet Junis Blue, just in time since my Ultra-Act for him just arrived today .

It's shame that this bunch's monster was mostly tentacle-shots, because that thing was damn creepy.
Anyway, it feels weird to see Jun go but man did he go out with a bang. These have been my favourite episodes yet. Looking forward to Junis Blue and how things change from here on out. On a final note, I was quite impressed with the UFO guys' "report 70% BS, 30% truths" tactic.

Caught up through episode 22. Had to stop myself after that and 21 so that I didn't just sit here and watch Nexus all day.
The Golgolem arc had some stuff that didn't work for me, but it looks like we're getting back into the good shit again. |

For me the Golgolem arc just drug out for far too long. Jun was always on deaths door during it. This show has been a little hard to stick with til now because it always seemed like Nexus was about to bite it. The battle's were always difficult. Sometimes you just like to see the hero win with style and not have to struggle, but the series really has picked up. I've watched ahead a bit and I can really tell now that they knew they were getting canned. There's a pretty abrupt change that's really obvious.
