The good people at RangerCrew attending the ongoing Licensing International Expo have shown off the first official images of yesterdays' confirmed new season of Power Rangers!

Power Rangers Megaforce premieres early 2013 with 22 episodes including holiday specials.

Okay Saban, here's my challenge to you - if you really want to make this like Mighty Morphin, let's see Gosei Green as the sixth ranger

Not that I'm saying they should drop Gosei Knight, but he could easily fill an extra hero role if need be.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! Looks awesome! Im actually surprised at myself about how excited aim considering how much i wanted to see Gokaiger brought over. Im sure it still will in some way at some point but till then I'm so ready to see how this show comes about.

Just added news of the episode count to the first post...


....which concerns me. Only 22 episodes? Okay that might mean it'll go into Ultra Megaforce or whatever like Samurai became Super Samurai, but even then Samurai was marketed as being 40 episodes right off the bat.

Maybe this is where they'll tie in Gokaiger, after? Sort of like during the Zordon era?

I look forward to seeing what they'll do with this season. The poster looks great. The Goseiger footage is filled with immense potential and I hope they make full use of it.

Perhaps, but the idea of attempting to cram 3 story arcs into 22 episodes does not fill me with a lot of hope

Look, we know now that it's Goseiger. Nothing we can do to change that.
