Episode 10 felt a little weird but at the same time slightly heartwarming. 11 and 12 were great at showing off the Delta Megaship and 12 showing us the combination of the the Astro and Delta Megazord: the Astro Delta Megazord. Let's also not forget that this is the first show in the entire Power Rangers Franchise that coined the term: Battlizer. A term and device that would be used for future rangers.

I'm taking my time this time around, watching one episode of PRiS, then one episode of MegaRanger. It's helping my gangster to tighten up in reality.

Episode 10... Let's Rocket!
Man, I forgot how much the early episodes focused on Cassie. This is not a bad thing. Ah, the "monster isn't actually evil" plot. We will see more of this. The Bulk and Skull stuff is already getting really lazy at this point. "Professor sees a thing. Professor says it's an alien. Slapstick ensues." Only thing I could think of during the fight against Sting King: Episode 11... Let's Rocket! Finally, here we go. This is the point when the show starts really taking off (no rocket pun intended). It was a lot of fun seeing the Phantom Ranger again and getting a reminder that there's actually a larger plot going on. From here on out there's going to be a lot fewer lost diaries and stolen vans and a lot more interstellar epic. |

Episode 12... I kinda forgot to watch you!
Weird. This was another episode that I honestly don't remember seeing. I was sure I'd seen all of PRiS before, but I legitimately do not remember this episode. I did like it, though. In Space always had good Zord stuff, so all of the Delta and Astro scenes were good. The villain stuff wasn't bad, either, although Elgar still really doesn't belong in this show. Honestly, the only thing that puzzled me was how and why the hell did the Professor make a device that could both animate machinery and give them a form of morality? |
