This trailer was cool up until the point that I realized that Toei's done the whole Shocker Rules the world alternate time line thing before.

I swear, it's like Toei writers only knows how to do one kind of plot...

Don't forget that they still have the 'hero acting like a villain so he can go around killing other heroes except not really' plot they can reuse for a fourth time.

Nah, it's a completely new suit. The undersuit of the Riders in The First/The Next was just leather jacket and pants, not that Kabutoish body suit. The mold of the helmet and armor also is completely different.

Well, they might be doing something like that here too, considering how Rider 3 has been shown teaming up with them in the scans. There's also the bit about Rider 1 and 2 being apparently killed right after the original series, but V3 still existing in the changed timeline.
