He is a film historian on Japanese cinema and TV shows. He wrote "Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters: Defending the Earth with Ultraman and Godzilla". He has been a huge Toku fan since the 60's. I met him at the double feature viewing my Alamo Drafthouse had of Monster Zero/War of the Gargantuas and he was awesome to talk with. Very knowledgeable and down to earth.

This is cool, but I own them on DVD, so I see no reason to bother.

That's actually pretty awesome. I'm also hoping this is a sign that their subbing efforts have been staying strong with Dairanger and that they'll keep continuing them through all the series hopefully. I know I already feel bad not getting Dairanger on Amazon yet since I know these sentai subbing efforts by them can use all the help they can get.
