Bandai. Has America done something to anger you? Have we punched your pregnant wife in the stomach, or kicked your dog into traffic, or burned down your childhood home and then poured the ashes over your sandwhich? Because that would be punishable by some of the toys you send us. Take Lightzord for example. Japan gets one that's 1:1 scale. Able to fire discs, combine properly, and light. America gets this small, strylized, version. That can't combine proper with Samurai Mega, can't hold discs, and.. is a bigger crap sandwhich then Prime Arachnid (Peaugh for President 2012).
Then we come to the little plastic figures the zords come with, that look like even McDonald's would turn them down for Happy Meal toys. If you want to include a figure with a toy, and make us pay extra for it, why can't you ATLEAST made sure the paint apps look good. I bought the Sharkzord, and it looked the paint was done by a 12 year old. Standing on stilts, during an earthquake, while falling, and blindfolded. How about not including the crummy figures, and lowering the price point by two or three bucks? And then the Zords. As much as I like they can combine with motorcycles, and 2010 Mega can combine with Samurai Mega. And as much as I hope Megaforce Mega combines with Samurai Mega. I wish you'd continue offering DX zords for those who want them. Like they did for Jungle Fury. And then the figures. When did four inches become standard? Used to be six, and they did something. Now they're four and they.. sit on a shelf. And the roleplay toys! Japan gets swords that are actually sword length, and we get... plastic toothpicks. And the Zords we get, don't even come with the discs, like the Asian versions do. Now I know the reason. "Sentai! They do it to save money!" And yea, that's true. But I'll use Lightzord as an example. Making a toy that horrible, because it saves money, is like giving yourself a rootcanal with a power drill. Because it saves money. Bandai. I am asking you, begging you down on my knees, offer the DX Zords for those of us who don't want to shell out 30 bucks for what amounts to a cheap Happy Meal toy? |

"But if we offer DX versions of the toy, children would get confused as to why there are 2 different toys of the same zord, and parents wouldn't know which one to buy!"

Funnily enough, they did exactly this for Jungle Fury, where it was possible to get most of the Zords in their original Japanese DX forms. Besides that, their smaller-scale Zords were still excellent in their own right, some improving on the designs of the originals. For example, the lion Zord's sword tail is an actual sword now. This is why I still applaud Jungle Fury has one of the best recent Power Rangers toylines.

Anyway, I do hope they bring back the DX toys, because when I found out that the FOLDING Zords didn't, I was legitimately angry (The biggest reason why I was most hyped for Samurai was for downsized, slightly inferior versions of the Origamis, because I really liked them but didn't like them enough to drop $200 for them).
Goseiger's Header zord things...Meh. The only interesting thing about them is that the snake forms the right leg, crotch, and upper left leg. |

On the other hand, hopefully this means that Bandai of America can't mess up that much. I really hope we get solid toys, direct imports or no.

That said, I'm totally on board for a small and cheap Gokaioh. |
