San Diego Comic Con coverage is ongoing, so stay tuned to this page for full updates on the Power Rangers panel.

A few interesting details have surfaced:

Megaforce will have two seasons-

*Goseiger will be used for the first season and

*Gokaiger will be used for Season 2 under the new name Super Megaforce

*Shout! has no control or authority to release Super Sentai on DVD

*We will see a female Red Ranger in the future no surprise to Shinkenger fans :P

A-ha! Interesting...I wonder if they will be keeping the same cast between the two seasons and using the Gokaiger suits as an "upgrade" like many have speculated. This hopefully means two sets of Zords! I'm cautiously optimistic.

While I'm cautiously optimistic, the name "Super Megaforce" sounds way too bland and cheesy, even for Power Rangers standards.

I'm guessing they plan on skipping a lot of Gokaiger for one thing. They'll only focus on the Power Ranger teams, which makes a good deal of the footage unusable.

HA! I called this ages ago. ZeoRangerV and I both theorized they'd use a combo of both shows for Megaforce.

You weren't the only one theorizing as much. :P

I'm a little surprised it's actually going to happen, though. It will be very intesrting seeing how this pans out and how the two shows are worked together.
