Into the Dalek didn't beat Dalek for me, but I definitely agree on all your other points. Especially on it being able to do interesting things with them without having to alter them somewhat for it to fit the story like Asylum
Hey Zeo! I liked Deep Breath a lot. Probably not as much as you did, but I liked it as an introduction to the 12th Doctor.
Into the Dalek I loved immensely. Might just be my favourite New Series Dalek episode. I felt it had everything I liked in Dalek episodes: drama, examination of the nature of Daleks, mass destruction, lots of cool sci-fi action. Plus, it wasn't like Asylum which sacrificed some of the Dalek's trademark traits. At least for me.
I think we generally get the licenses from the USA and add a Madman license to it. The K-On licenses have Sentai Filmworks all over them with an additional Madman logo.
25 is a real bargain, I would definitely pay that much.
You know, sometimes I am really peeved with Madman. I like that they're getting so many distribution licenses and that they interact a lot with their fans, but their stuff is not only overpriced but also come out at a snail's pace. I mean, why do Americans pay the same price for the entire series of Transformers Animated as we do for just one season? And because Madman exists, sites with free content like Crunchyroll have to pull off their stuff to make way for the licensee here.
Sorry for that rant, just got so frustrated knowing that even though Americans pay a lot for Madoka DVDs, they can still watch it for free in three streaming channels and pay a small amount for HD.
