I have already casted for a Kiramager adaptation. The biggest difference I have so far is that Mashin Mach and Carantula are female. I might continue the matching I have with the Zords if I end up making Rangers for the auxiliaries.
I'm doing Kyu Ranger and To Q if you want to take Kira Mage to pick up one of the 4 skipped by Saban and Hasbro. That still leaves Lu Pat. Cosmic Fury takes place after the Netflix episodes but adapts Kyu Ranger.
No but I would rather they translate the story to English rather than change it. So I say keep the story as is and film it the way they did. Don't worry about the content being viewer friendly. They could post a viwer warning on the episodes to play it safe.
Ninja Ranger was about kids following in their grandfather's foot steps to become last Ninja. Saw half of it. Ninja Steel was about a TV Game Show competition for the Power Stars. Mega was video game themed and In Space went into space.
It's a bit confusing when they change the over all theme of the series in the west for Power Rangers.
well put it this way not purist but I'd rather tend to let the story be what it is.
When something is gutted to the core like Mega Ranger as was the case with Huri then it loses what it's intended to be in the first place. Mega Ranger was video game themed while the adaption was a space theme.
Samurai kept the story which is fine. Also Beast Morphers kept the Mesiah cyber plot from Go Busters which was good.
Jungle Fury fully played on Rio / Mele's plot start to finish which I liked. Also used Rio's temple which was good.
Kaku was actually a Ninja series unlike MMPR III.
I'm not a purist. I'd have to say that maybe I'm tired of cheap knock offs.
