That could very well still happen

What I had really hoped would happen was that through SW Peter got aware of what he did in One More Day and once the Marvel U got fixed he would track down Mephisto to try and get the deal undone.

True, true.

But I think Secret Wars does provide an opportunity for them to rework that part of Peter Parker's life just a bit. And a follow-up arc in The Amazing Spider-Man a la One Moment in Time could tie up the pressing loose ends.

But that's just an idea.

But I rather have them not keeping it instead of just having it there without once having Peter to deal with the whole mephisto thing again and the fact he sold his marriage and the life of his unborn child.

It's too bad they're probably not going to preserve the Spidey-Family, though.

First we get a book with SPidey married and having a kid and now the same with supes. its truly a magical time.
