We arriving on Wed morning and will be leaving Sunday afternoon. My friend who ordered the plane tickets and everything doesn't have the patience to want to stay for the whole convention on the last day, so we all have to suffer by leaving before it ends. :-( It sucks, but whatever, he did have everything paid for (hotel, plane, rental car) within 5 minutes of us deciding that we were going to go to AX.

That's true. How long are you gonna be there? The 4 days of Anime Expo? Or longer?

Well we got $2000 saved for the entire trip since we plan to go to various places in LA such as the library, the Chinese theater, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, that pier with the ferris wheel on it, etc. We also have two of our other friends going with us, so it was nice to have the hotel room split between four people. Plus, we figure sales tax and food prices are going to be expensive.
