I like now in some ways - the internet, for one thing, has been pretty awesome for my interests!
I know a lot of your peers love the 80's but, ugh, the REAL Reaganite 80's were like plain oatmeal. DULLL BLAND AND WEAKSAUCE.
Honestly, I never really considered myself much of a millennial beyond, well, being one
I was always the type of person to appreciate media from all eras, so I was never "THE NINETIES WERE BETTER" or anything
(Though they did have some awesome stuff. Damn, I loved a lot of cartoons back then~)
The 90's were awesome - (the royal) we didn't know how great we had it!
Totally not anti-Millennial (well, unless I'm goofing around with my Millennial co-workers), BTW. Yeah, a few things bug me, but not enough to go nuts like some of my peers.
I'm not even a Gen Xer
I am indeed a millennial, but I love so much pop culture during that era that I can't help it, though it is from a point that I'm honestly baffled how people don't know it.
ANd yeah, pay him no mind
Thanks for the Gen X back up! I'd be offended at vin's bafflement as to how anyone over sixteen could like this stuff but
A. It's vin, bafflement seems to be his default mode.
B. I wasn't much better as a young "never gonna get old" person. I remember being visibly stunned when I learned a drummer in one of my old bands was *gasp* thirty!.
