I agree, I wish they gave her one more expression and be done with that. Well right now the figma is at minimum $50 (even Mandarake doesn't seem to have her), not including shipping, so I might have to continue searching. Why are Japanese toys always so hard to find?

About the Figma, you really think it's the best? Hmm, I don't know, it didn't really catch my eye the first time, I felt in some angles she looks a bit off. Perhaps I'll take a closer look at it. The articulation and included stand does look like a ton of fun...

Most importantly, I guess, how's the durability of it? I heard the Nendoroids are really fragile, one of the reasons I decided against them.

I've started rewatching K-On. It's a pretty new thing for me to rewatch a series, let alone so soon after finishing it. But I just enjoy it so much.

I've decided not to get the Yui figure, though. Nice though it is, I remembered that my Elsa doll is really just gathering dust right now. I don't know what to do with toys that don't have some transforming feature and I don't collect based on theme and poseability. I guess in addition to your list of criteria for purchasing a toy, I'd add Playability as a criterion because I like to fiddle with my toys.

Anyway, how are you?

I almost never go all in with a Sentai line, the costs are prohibitive for me. Usually it's the main mecha and the sixth, and maybe a few auxiliaries in between. I'd complete the set if the final mecha isn't always a giant, overpriced electronic thing. I guess that's why you do miniplas. But you do bring out a good point, the ToQOh will probably be available for months from now, with a rerelease 2-3 months from now.

Do you usually get old figures, though? They're always so much more expensive than retail.

Hmm interesting. I think I may adopt this list and maybe add some. So in applying to Yui:

-Price - It's a steal at that price.
-Month of release - This is the month of ToQger, and that's going to be a pain if I dive into it.
-Availability - It's rare and sold our everywhere or at high prices
-Multiple toy lines - I feel a Nendoroid is best suited for this character because of the size and the charm. The only other choice would be the Figma.
-Owned in a different line? - I don't yet own this character
-How many different characters? - BIGGEST hindrance. There's the strong temptation of owning every member of the K-On and this goes from affordable to extremely expensive and near impossible real quick.

So that's 4 positives against 2 very big negatives. It'll need some thinking.

I find they look so charming, though. And I'm not usually one for poseability, so I think they'll be alright for me.

What exactly are your criteria for buying? I'd love to know, since I think I should probably make a list myself.

Well there's that Nendoroid Yui I showed you, but I just watched the ToQger first episode which kind of edges me to getting the mecha too.

Arggh, how do you decide what toys to spend on?

The DX looks like a really solid toy. Someone noted that the connectors and clips look to be made of the more durable, softer material used in earlier bots compared to the brittle ones used in Go-busters and Kyoryuger.

Plus, I'm really impressed by the interchangeability of the trains. It's no wonder the transformation is kept simple, the swapping of trains gives a lot of potential (like the legend trains).

I'll watch the first episode and decide soon enough.

I'm still deciding on getting ToQger stuff. If not, the money goes to Jinba Lemon.
