Pretty much. You're like Stan Lee. You do dark but hide it with lightness. I'm like James O' Barr or Neil Gaiman. I go dark and bring out the light when I think it's needed.

Still though, we go where we go for a reason and only do it for the story. So it doesn't really matter. We don't go there to be cool and edgey. We go there for a specific reason.

Yeah. I suppose we should just phrase it as we have our different versions of dark and how far we go with it. I'm actually planning on doing a non KR or Sentai toku after Dreamranger to go with Daigen just to experiment. You sort of have to write within a certain style regardless of your own writing style when doing KR and SS. Doing your completely own and original toku series (or something not SS or KR related persay) I think leads to more creativity.
