Well, everything here is more expensive than most places around the world, so it's not a really good comparison. I know our whole set of pots and pans in the USA was cheaper than that lone saucepan.

They do rip people off with kitchen appliances, though... just like in the Sims.

Eh...it is. But you know, the kitchen appliances market has always been insane, don't you think? My mother's saucepan was $80 if I remember correctly, and that's just a saucepan. Not counting all the pressure cookers and all those fancy things.

I know, I'm sorry. But I'm not buying $4000-6000 machines. Just giving you a range of what these espresso machines cost.

Believe it or not, $700 is a standard price for an ordinary machine. Good entry level machines are above $1000. The best high-end ones are $3000+.
