I just hope this comes more naturally than say, drawing, which still perplexes me to this day. I feel that I have a better passion for writing, but I must still be wary of giving up too easily. Plus, I need ideas.

I think they're dangerous too. Besides, according to their vicious critiques, JK Rowling is a terrible author. She tells instead of showing sometimes, she uses plenty of adjectives, she uses "suddenly" etc. But being a great fan of her work, I see that what constitutes great writing is a really subjective thing, there's no science to it. So, best to just let friends and such look at the work. By the way, would you be willing to have a look at mine?

Trying to write more. Also been searching online writing communities and such, goodness, I have so much to catch up on. It seems really hard to express ideas and get the stuff I want to say out.

There are some critique groups that volunteer to tear your work apart to help you improve, but I don't think I dare to do that just yet.
