....Can I have a story?

Dragging out feels annoying sometimes, surely. I remember when Rurouni Kenshin dragged stuff out over a ton of episodes, but to be fair most anime did that back then.

I'm not sure if K-On does it, though. There's definitely an undercurrent of sadness, but the characters don't bring it up except for a tiny few scenes. It's like they warn you of it in the beginning and then proceed to have as much fun as possible making you even more paranoid that all this fun is going to come crashing down at the end. Luckily it didn't.

Maybe the movie could be accused of dragging things out as it takes place before graduation but they spend 80% of the time causing shenanigans in London.

What other shows do you accuse of creating unnecessary drama?

Shall I "commence ignore mode"?

I can't say about KyoAni in general, but I think K-On does it pretty well. It's a bittersweet, heartwarming kind of sadness. Like leaving your friends to go to a new place, but knowing you'll see each other again and reminiscing of all the memories you had together. It's no wonder people call it a "second childhood".

K-On is not moody, in that sense. It has an undercurrent of sadness, but also a stronger one of love, joy and a hope in the concept of eternal friendship. As I said before, no show I've seen does friendship better.

Oh Figuarts I don't have much experience with...and yes, Bionicles are one of the exceptions to the indestructible LEGO rule.

K-On...first season was more of a heartwarming awesomeness by the time of the ending. Season 2 on the other hand...let's see how I can explain this.

K-On Season 1 was 14 episodes spread over their first two years of high school. Season 2 was 27 episodes spread over their single, final year. Well, final year for all except Azusa. All those annual school festivals, those freshman performances, those summer training camps, they have only one chance to do it again as a band before they graduate. And the season subtly hints at this throughout and really goes full-scale near the end when you'll just burst into tears sobbing at it all. Especially since the finale (not counting the extra episodes) takes place on graduation day.

You'd regret because of price? For me, durability and polish are the most important things in toys so that's why LEGO and BoJ mecha rank so highly on my list of favourite toys. Transformers, with their QC issues, not so much, because while I do appreciate engineering, I don't appreciate it as much as a solid toy.
