I am with other cases depending upon the severity. I guess part of that is that I've had my own ignorance that I've left behind.

That bothers me too, but I'm more willing to forgive a dumb kid that has no parents and has memories of an abusive mom. Doesn't make it right, but it's a character flaw to overcome.
