Wataru is interesting, but his development is very flawed.
He's basically very emo.

Imo Kiva is a mess, but the 1986 side is mostly solid, and the IXA of that time period is incredibly awesome.

Go-onger was adapted as RPM. These two were the biggest examples of polar opposites in Power Rangers adaptation. While Go-onger was insanely goofy and ridiculous (with talking Zords, ridiculous combinations, singing monsters and all kinds of visual gags), RPM was and still is the darkest Power Rangers series to date. RPM even explained away Go-onger's goofy Zord designs in a very plausible manner, which was impressive.

At any rate I love both, but they're very different series.

Sentai crossovers used to be good too. The Shinkenger vs Go-onger one was my absolute favourite.
