Yes, I am a kid. XD I think if you saw my collection you might faint because it's totally unorganised. Not arranged according to theme, or character, or series. Just everything jumbled together, LEGO with Star Trek, Transformers with Kamen Rider, Sentai with Disney, etc.

Oh yeah, I'm sure if your collecting habits are that way, you'd cringe too. I guess it depends on why you would want to collect merchandise. For you, it's probably like a memento of something you're a fan of, so that's why it makes more sense to buy something from a show you have attachment to.

But for me, I buy toys for their play value, so I sometimes buy stuff that is unrelated. That's why I'm not so big a fan of stuff like Figuarts (because I play more than I display) but I am a huge fan of things like Super Sentai DX robots and LEGO.

Ah that's cool. It's always good to get stuff related to what you like, that way your collection will be a lot more focused.

For me, I am probably the opposite, I buy stuff more because it looks cool. So I got a ton of things I don't know what they're from, but I assign new roles to them.
