Ouch that's harsh...sorry to hear that. It's an immensely touchy subject for me so I would feel really horrid too.

You think exactly like how I do! (I think) I just live because that's what it is. I do stuff, start each day and end it. Look forward to simple pleasures like movie release dates.

The worst thing is seeing Facebook friends get all gung-ho with the endless number of "Things you should be doing in your 20s" lists. I blocked a few of them because of that. Too many idealistic people trying to grasp at some vague dream. Good for them I suppose, but not for me.

If I have a dream, it's just to get enough work, enough time off, enough money to feed me and anyone else who's reliant on me, and enough for the occasional toy or treat. Help out anyone when the opportunity arises. That's a pretty good discovery a teacher helped me to discover back last year. I should probably thank her.

I don't know any chat candidates that don't piggy-back on another platform like Facebook. I might look into it and let you know. I know a lot of people here use Skype.

Ah...that. I'm still trying to figure it out.

From my point of view, I suppose most of the time we can never be really sure. When I was 15, I wanted to be a programmer. When I was 17 I wanted to be an artist. Now I'm doing accounting, with a bunch of social science and humanities stuff in between.

It is a valid worry though, so anytime you want to talk just let me know. We probably need a better chatting client than Steam, though.
