I know many people who can't stand UFOs. For me I love big starships that have this sense of "city on a ship". Same for real life ships like cruise ships or carriers. That sense of scale is amazing.

The Enterprise IS a flying UFO. I wouldn't have it any other way. Have you seen the differences in the Enterprises? For example the Enterprise-E (NCC-1701-E) looks much more sleek compared to the others. I think they're all lovely designs that I simply have such fondness for.
