I think whenever there's a strong Japanese influence, like in the G1 Japanese lines, the Beast Wars sequels, RiD or the Unicron Trilogy, there is usually a lot of out-of-this-world craziness that is just plain fun. That's why Transformers Go! now seems a lot more exciting than Prime was.

Victory is very cute, and I like Star Saber a lot. He makes for a nice straight-up goody two-shoes. I hated what IDW did to him. Well based on what you said, I may want to continue Victory!

Looks like you got a star set with the Unicron Trilogy! All excellent toys, by the looks of it, and I'm jealous you have Cybertron Optimus! I only have the black and red Galaxy Force one, not quite so striking. How are Armada Starscream and Dark Scorponok?

Masterpiece is a strange line for me. They make very accurate models, but sometimes I wonder why at that price range they don't use more ratcheting joints or incorporate more stability in their builds.

Then again, I like my toys to be toy-like and solid. That's why I'm looking back at the Unicron trilogy for some stuff. That Armada Megatron looks like quite an imposing figure.

So you liked Victory? I rented it a week ago, but I didn't really watch that much. Maybe I'll continue another time. Star Saber is one really cool design, though.

Just asking because I have this craving for robot toys now, but nothing in Transformers is really that appealing at the moment. I agree the Generations ones are nice. Just wondering what you're getting.

This trio of specials: Day of the Doctor, An Adventure in Space and Time and the Five(ish) Doctors Reboot really covered all the grounds! You have epic, heartwarming and funny all in a nice package. Lovely!

Oh Colin Baker was so funny. How about Davison badgering his daughter Georgia to call Tennant? Or Moffat playing with action figures to figure out scenes?
