I must say, I've not watched a single First Doctor episode (unless you count The Three Doctors), but I still related very well to An Adventure in Space and Time. David Bradley was masterful in his portrayal, it was amazing.

Zeo, I finally watched An Adventure in Time and Space, and boy, did it pull at my heartstrings. I had immense difficulty holding back tears.

More iconic than Tom? *scoffs*

And yes, that line was great! And then the War Doctor just couldn't let it go.

I don't really think it's Tennant's fault though. The show and its producers seem just so eager to elevate him and unwilling to let him go. It seems like there was this air of bitterness at leaving that just felt a bit unfair to Smith and the other Doctors.

And one thing that annoys me a bit is how Tennant is still the "go-to" Doctor of the modern day. Like Rose, his influence extends beyond his tenure, and fans to this day cry that nothing is better than he was. I can only imagine how Davison fans must have felt back in the day.

That's why I laughed a bit when Smith said "He always says that" in the special.

It seemed that by the End of Time, you were a bit sick of RTD.

That works. So Rassilon carried out his plan while the War Doctor was learning a life lesson with the Moment and his incarnations. When the Zygon business is settled, Gallifrey was already whisked back into its original place by the Tenth Doctor in 2009. Then all the Doctors come and save it.

That means Rassilon is still alive and could still feature in a future story. Maybe the Master killed him. And imagine what the Daleks must have thought to see Gallifrey phasing in and out.

Perhaps we can just ignore The End of Time completely...

So when does the transplanting of Gallifrey next to Earth happen?

No! It was on last night immediately after the special, but after two viewings of the special, one in the cinema, I was a bit too worn out to watch it. I'll wait for a rerun or watch it on iView.

The one bit of Doctor Who merchandise I'm looking for is the Day of the Doctor 3D Blu-ray. I thought it looked great in the cinema, so it'll be worth getting. Even though I already have it recorded on my satellite TV.
