I felt that you captured Tsukasa’s and the rest of the Decade team’s personalities, even though the only thing Decade I’ve watched is crossover material. I liked seeing more of Carter, who we don’t see enough. And Tsukasa makes a fun antagonist, even if temporarily.

Yup. So yeah, I guess it depends on what it really means to choose one world. The implications are not 100% clear, so there are multiple meanings to get from that. I suppose neither choice is wrong, in the end, but Alex values his relationships, so he picked his former world.

That's the thing I'm not sure about. If I was in Alex's shoes, the "perfect world" is not a perfect world to me. I lost my friends, I lost all the memories I had built up, and only I am aware of what went on before.

But I would also wonder, is it fair to go back to my old world? All my friends are great now. Sarah's alive, Madison is happy, Tara and Carter are still in a good relationship. This is just my opinion, but the only unhappy one in this altered, perfect world is me. So I'm not sure if I should well, sacrifice that in order to go back to what it was before.

At least that's what I took from it.

Unless you meant that these are two separate worlds, and that Alex abandoned the old one (now without an Xtreme to protect them) to move to the new one. But to alter reality where everyone else is happy, I don't know if that's a bad thing.
