Don't be. Gold's hand broke off while posing him. I just won Blue today for ridiculously cheap and am really excited to get it.

It's the 12" Special Edition one. Don't worry, Tokunation will be seeing more of it and the Special Edition Blue Stinger Beetleborg very soon.

It is very strange, I am half-tempted to e-mail the distributor to find out why. Apparently the Australian release came out in 2006, but for some reason has disappeared from the shelves today. The Davros set is far too expensive for now, so I'll just have to keep looking for options.

Again, I really hope they'll have a Special Edition re-release soon like in Ark of Space and The Aztecs sets that were released recently. Do you know how BBC (or whoever makes the DVDs) selects stories for Special Edition re-releases?

Oh, that's strange. Well I haven't been able to find the story anywhere here, I've checked as many stores as I could, both brick-and-mortar and online. Genesis of the Daleks is conspicuously absent for some reason. I guess my only hope for a local release is a possible future Special Edition set. Either that, or I can import it from the UK, but I'm worried about DVD drive incompatibilities.

Hey Zeo, I want to ask you something. Do you use iTunes? If you do, does your iTunes store have Genesis of the Daleks?

I have a sneaky suspicion that the story is banned in Australia...

Oh, I did watch a bit of The Dalek that Time Forgot, I remember being impressed at how the CGI was so realistic, and more importantly, how amazing the voice acting was. I should probably catch up on the rest of that series.

I never got around to the Big Finish audio stories, how do you start on those? Are they only available on audio discs? It would be interesting to explore the expanded universe of the 8th Doctor.

I don't know enough about Gatiss' work to comment, but I'm surprised you liked Victory of the Daleks that much. I know more than a few fans have spewed hatred on that one. Personally, it's actually one of my favorite Dalek episodes (sadly being the first Dalek episode I've ever watched).

Nick Briggs is an interesting choice. He always was a great voice actor but I didn't know he wrote for Doctor Who too. I do remember you saying on your blog once that he'll know the psyche of the Daleks well enough to write an excellent Dalek story.
