It's basically the old-fashioned jokes like "Oh women don't want you to know their weight", "Women don't want you to know how old they are", "Women are incomprehensible" kind of thing. Just a bit outdated, but I guess it's not that uncommon in Japanese media.

Not really. Funnily enough I don't think the Abaranger/Dino Thunder dinos are all that great. I dig the main Thundersaurus, as well as the Mesodon Megazord, but the rest aren't that interesting to me. It doesn't help that the show doesn't seem that interested in promoting the toys.
I think Zyuranger/Kyoryuger had nicer mecha for dinosaurs.
