Well you don't have to. J.R.R. Tolkien was so tempted to rewrite The Hobbit but his publisher forced him not to. It has its own charm.

Well, I'd say that the language is more eloquent and...expansive. It's more varied and as such is more fun to read. In general I can see that you're upping your writing skills over time. Just an observation, anyway.

It's still the first part. Interested to see where this is going.

I will say, the writing in act 2 is better than act 1.
