Yes, Arrival theme! Plus Star Trek: The Motion Picture's theme, how can I forget that!

To be honest, I've never had the chance to fully listen to Princess Mononoke's soundtrack. Both the themes I've listened to are amazing, but over here I'm rating soundtracks as a whole, that means including every single track on the disc.

If I'm rating musical themes the list would be many times longer, and of course include Princess Mononoke. Will also include stuff like the Harry Potter theme (Hedwig's theme), Danny Elfman's Batman, John William's Superman and Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.

I think I can count the number of truly spectacular soundtracks I've listened to in my life on my two hands. But Star Wars would take 6 slots, and Lord of the Rings would take 3 slots so that's not fair.

Besides those two, there's Titanic, Tron Legacy, and Spirited Away. And of course the two HTTYD movies.

Frozen's soundtrack is not spectacular. It's an excellent listen, but it's not mind-blowing. From when I first watched Frozen, up til today, I have never considered Frozen's soundtrack to be better than "very good". What makes Frozen a musical masterpiece is the songs, as most people have realized, but songs are not part of the movie's score. I consider them a separate category, so I'd say Frozen's songs are terrific, but not its score.

In honesty, Disney soundtracks have usually been good, but not fantastic. They rely on their songs to sell their albums, and rightly so. Likewise, I bought Frozen's album because I wanted "Let it Go", "For the First Time in Forever", etc.

But How To Train Your Dragon 2 is an orchestral masterpiece.
