Oh goodness, sorry about that! I guess I shouldn't mention I got ToQOh for 5000 yen off Mandarake.

If there's one negative, it's the price. This guy is way too expensive for his size! I mean, I don't regret buying him, but clearly he could be a bit cheaper.

I'd price him 6500 yen instead of his retail 7500 yen.

Yes, the DX, and I'm sorry, but I really must rave about it a tiny bit. Each train has a surprising amount of heft, resulting in a toy that feels great in your hand. The play value of the individual trains is much greater than component mecha have any right to be, if we were to judge them on the standards of other Sentai mecha. I love linking them all up.

The transformation is oh-so-deliciously clicky with every joint or hinge locking into place solidly. You've already seen the transformation on the show, and it's a ton of fun to carry out. The resulting robo is a very, very solid one, and definitely my most stable 5 piece robo.

I think overall, the main word I can use to describe ToQOh is "solid". It may be simple, but it's a very well-designed toy, with everything feeling solid (there's that word again ) and locking into place nicely. I dare say this is my favourite Sentai DX robo yet based on how intuitively designed and well-built it is!

I don't know if you've seen a ToQOh in person, but it's beautiful, both as a train and as a robo.
