Hard to say. Stuff like that does affect gameplay, it makes planning difficult, and playing with international players even more so.

"The game" is pretty tempting. But a serious answer is that in the original game, they got rid of almost all the gore, so no dismemberment, less blood and all that. Plus, zombies that died will disappear, leaving suspiciously clean streets. Earlier censorship was worse, they got rid of zombified riot-police zombies, but the current one is better.

Movie studios, let me pay you money, dangit! It probably never will get wider distribution. That's like asking for Precure to get a non-Japanese release.

Ah crazy censors. XD More important things to focus on. Speaking of censors, Left 4 Dead 2 is FINALLY uncensored in Australia, but I'm too lazy to apply the patch.

You'll be surprised at how many things aren't available as delightfully overpriced DVDs. For example, practically every season of Power Rangers except MMPR Season 1 and the neo-Saban ones. Reboot, like most things, is available in the USA, but I never liked importing something that I have to unlock.
