And if you want, I could breed you a Modest Bulbasaur.

An egg hatched is always the same species as it's mother, so once you get a female Bulbasaur, you can breed it with any father (In the same egg group) and always yield a Bulbasaur.

Meanwhile, the Everstone will transfer the nature of the parent holding it while breeding.

So if you breed a female Bulbasaur, with a father holding the Everstone (With a Modest nature), the egg will hatch into a Modest Bulbasaur!
