The Season you Thought was Better than Sentai
 

Not me. The series Super Sentai.

You should never compare Power Rangers to Super Sentai. They're meant to be two separate universes. That's what Power Rangers should be, it's own unique thing. But I'm wondering if you watched a season of Super Sentai and then later watched the season of Power Rangers that used the footage, and thought that the PR season was better than the Sentai season. That used the motif, suits, weapons, zords, footage, better than the original.

So which season, or seasons, did that for you?

SPD. Simple.

I personally thought that dino thunder was better than abaranger and that SPD was better than dekaranger. I say dinothunder because it had a more serious outlook and mezagog just looked cool to me. I also liked that the white ranger didn't die. I say spd because of two reasons one being jack wasn't a total jackass all the time and actually was a leader and the a squad vs b squad fight. Badassery at it's best.

Out of everything I've seen In Space is definitely better than Megaranger. I love Mega to death, and I love In Space to death, but Space is just better on pretty much all cylinders. And that's kinda the only one I can comment on since everything else I've seen beginning to end Sentai wise is better than the PR counterpart.

I will say though that while Timeranger is good from what I've seen, I prefer Timeforce much more. So whenever I finish Timeranger maybe then I'll add Timeforce to that list.

So far I'm liking Dino Charge far better than Kyoryuger, but that's not all that had since (unpopular opinion I know) I personally can't stand Kyoryuger.

I'd say RPM, but I actively avoid Go-Onger like the plague, so I can't fairly judge that.

But I will totally rep Mystic Force over Magiranger. Mystic Force isn't great, but I think it's better than a lot of people give it credit for. It's certainly much better than Magiranger, which is one of the most unbearably awful Sentai series I've ever seen de gozarimasu desu.

Right now I want to say Dino Charge but I'll hold off on that until its actually FINISHED.

Instead, I'll give the point to Jungle Fury.

In general, I find the majority of the Saban Entertainment seasons to be just as enjoyable as the Sentai counterparts, the majority of the Disney seasons to be way better than the Sentai counterparts, and the majority of the Saban Brand seasons to be way worse than the Sentai counterparts. There's exceptions to all, like Alien Rangers being bad compared to Kakuranger, Overdrive being awful, and Dino Charge being good. That's just the general pattern for me.

But... but... Gekiranger? :lolol

Can't you just like em both like I do with Time Force and Timeranger? :)
