Transformers Fall Of Cybertron
Anyone buying this FOCing game? I gotta pick mine up later. Looking forward to it. Shame the toys don't look very game-accurate(though Optimus turned out to be surprisingly fun to fiddle with and Shockwave is cool).
|
I want to pick it up, but I'm poor lol.
I did add it to my Steam wishlist, and I might go for it on PS3 too... As for toys, I've pretty much ceased buying any Cybertronian figure. I hate the alt modes too much. |
Checked out the WalMart next to the local Gamestop today before picking up my copy of the game... No Shockwave. Such disappointment.
I'm on chapter 4 of the game so far. I actually wish it were a bit more challenging. :/ |
Got it yesterday for the 360. Got my ass handed to me in MP. Need a bit more practice on that.
|
loving this game...

Dude Shockwave is an amazing figure
|
Picked it up on PS3.
|
Got it today for 360.
On to Chapter 4 and already losing interest. |
I beat it on steam. It's a good game but I wish the swindle and bumblebee levels were longer.

ok...almost finished this game...killed a whole day off on it. Here is the thing, this is a game for Transformer Fans six ways sideways...The story is great, the leves a blast. Each level is a different transformer and each guy has just a different special ability (save one, Grimlock who is all together different, but will get into that) and that makes the game. From playing a character who cloaks, the game is like Splinter Cell (you have executions), to the grappling hook (Kind of like Arkham Assylum) to my favorite, the force wave...each gives a variety of play. Then you have Grimlock and the Dinobots at the end of the game...holy crap is it satisfying to just lay waste!
Storywise it is a retelling of the Autobots and Decepticons right before they head to Earth. If you are a loooong time fan there are so many different nods to the old series and the 1984 movie. Yes some re-designs and they work. I played the demo and was all "Meh" about the multiplayer...it is much much smoother in the final package. My only complaint is I wanted more of the single player. It was as if we just get a taste of what they could do, but then the game could drag on too much, or we fan boys would complain that stuff got left out... Bottom line, I recomend this game. Will do a more complete write up later on my site...but I highly recomend it. |

99% sure I'm going to pick it up after work, or earlier if I can sneak out for a bit. I wants to play multi-player, xbox gamertag ryanlb add me and let's play.
|
Remember: Use the spoiler tags for those of us who haven't bought it yet, and don't want anything spoiled.
|
LOL Didn't spoil anything you can't see from the front cover when you buy the box or go into a toy aisle...
|
Been playing a lot of Multiplayer myself, barely touched the campaign. I have the game for PS3, my PSN ID is yuusha0!
|
I want this game infinitely, but like Matrixbeast, money is a factor. :(
That and the fact that I don't know if I should get it for XBox or PC(I'd prefer XBox, no doubt, but I don't have an XBox with me. And I had WFC for XBox too...). |
I pretty much had to dip into next month's budget, so no September buys for me :\
|
I traded in a bunch of games I know I won't touch ever again, so that helped make the final price much more manageable for me
|
Wrote up a formal review on the link

Finally got around to playing it. It's pretty fun. I just finished playing as Bee and Prime, and quit right as you began as Cliffjumper.
I haven't touched multiplayer, but single player it's pretty solid. I enjoy the upgradable weapons and the weapon stations as a whole (I'm so used to praying enemies to drop a decent weapon when I run out of/low in ammo in every other shooter I play that these things are a godsend :lol). |
I've been enjoying it so far, as well. I played chapter one and most of chaper two, then played online for a couple hours. Mostly got my head handed to me on a silver platter, but I had fun. Think I might go play single player for a bit more, right now.
|
I am at the stage with Vortex, kind of lost lol. I fell asleep and forgot where I was going. Nonetheless, I find this game to be very fun BUT...
It seems like it will be too short. Hopefully there is DLC with more campaign missions in the future. I would love to use the other Dinobots, and Grimlock in more than 1 stage. I might be wrong, but was WFC actually a longer game? |
