Go-Busters Premiere Event: Toys, Theme Song and MORE!

The annual reveal event for Super Sentai is underway in Japan, giving us a few excellent glimpses of the upcoming "Tokumei Sentai Go-Buster!"

Blade looks like a good size even though it's obviously not as long as the show. Gun does too.

Minipla is looking good. Looks like it might need some paint but its still a definite buy.

That changer looks fantastic. It's nice and shiny...sorta reminds me of BoukenSilver's GoGo Changer and that was a sick toy.
The DX robo I'm not too sure about yet. I always buy the robo but this one seems strangely uninteresting. I'll probably end up getting it just on habit. |

Yeah!! That's the thing! He looks absolutely awesome live, but the toy looks a little funky. I feel like for the last couple of years its kinda been like that.

I'm loving the look of all of these toys, and the DX mecha are certainly the priority on my list. The fact that Go-buster Ace is a triple changer is amazing. I really wish I could grab everything on display there, but with limited funds one has to, unfortunately, plan one's priorities. :( |

It just *SCREAMS* Kamen Rider Fourze to me, haha. Even the logo! But I like the theme song (well the clip of it) ... but I'm not sure how I feel on the rest of the stuff just yet. Need to let it sink in a bit.

Huh, so the main mech has some posabilty to it. I think I see:
- Swivel head - Swivel waist - Outwards moving arms. - Rotating at the shoulder. - Sort of a swivel biceps. - Ball jointed wrists. - Swivel hips. - Sort of a swivel thigh. - Maybe bending knees. Go-Buster Ace is pretty posable for a standalone mech. |

Ehhhhhh, I dunno. I'll want the DX robo, but I just hate how ugly they look compared to the show. Am I allowed to post mag scans here to show what I mean? I don't know the ins and out around here yet and don't want to get in trouble on my first day. :P
Oh, and slightly off topic but who wants to help make me an simple avatar? I'm like a monkey with ears for hands when it comes to image editing. |
If they designed the sides legs to fold behind them Go-bus ace would look so much better. Hopefully the fully combined toy will even things out. Besides the Dx toys I'll probably end up getting the changer and camera/blaster.

Well, I was making the point about Go-Buster Ace and I compared the toy of it with the baggy pants legs to this:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YNwHSh-vEu...obusters25.jpg Here it's all sleek and cool and the sizes aren't all funky like the toy. And avatar wise, something silver sentai member-ish that's cool looking. Maybe a good Gokai Silver one or MegaSilver. One of those dudes. |

This show looks like its gonna be a good one, I just hope it can even be half as good as gokaiger |

Gokai-Oh had to be super extra blocky to be able to house the aux mechs like Magidragon and Patstriker so it threw things off, and Gosei Great's head was too small and chest was too big because of the header thing. I'll probably still end up getting this one because the wacky proportions will be covered up in it's Gobuster-Oh form, but its still a bummer. I'm glad I can't find anything to whine about with the changer though. :-D And thanks for the pics!! The signature especially is perfectly what I had in mind! :thumb: |

So, what are you all going to pick up first? The DX Mecha? The Candy toys? The Changer? The Role-play items? Maybe the figures? Let's hear your thoughts! |
I kinda spoiled myself this past year with every DX mecha, all the Figuarts, all the DX Ranger Keys and both changers. That's bad lol.
This year I plan on being a little better behaved and just get the (hopefully only two) DX robos and changers. Luckily there's no ranger key gimmick this time around. We'll see how long this lasts though :-P |
Candy toys for me definitely. I'm addicted to the things :D
I'm gonna pick up the Gobuster ranger keys too, they'll go nicely with my legend mobirates! |
