Just as the title says, lets list your personal top 10 favorite openings from across the genre (so far Go-Buster is my favorite!) Plus this helps me, cause I wanna get some of the best songs on file.

This should probably go in the Other Toku Discussion area since you're asking about Tokusatsu as a whole, not just Sentai. But enough backseat moderating...

Wonderful lists! I do have another question, and my answer may be in another thread. Is there a good place to obtain this music, outside of importing the OSTs???

All the Sentai openings and endings(besides Go-Busters and Akibaranger) are on iTunes. Me, personally, as long as it's not on iTunes, I use a program that downloads and converts Youtube videos into mp3s.

There's a reason more are Kamen Rider than Sentai. Kamen Rider seems to get the best opening songs, for whatever reasoning.

I was afraid I was gonna be the only one to list PR themes in my Top 10 :lol

I had to kick about 5 PR themes off. 10 was originally a tie between Dino Thunder and Jungle Fury, but then I remember the Kakuranger theme. Even now I'm thinking of replacing 10 with one of them.

I'm sad I didn't see the original Green Ranger theme from MMPR in there!

I think Kamen Rider. Fourze, W, Wizard! Goseiger had a great theme song (TENSOU!) and so did Gokaiger, but other than those? KR is just better with music.

By theme songs you mean openings, right? Cause Sentai wins hands down in that scenario. Alternatively, Kamen Rider blows Sentai out of the water when it comes to endings(though the endings in Kamen Rider shows or more on par with insert songs from Sentai, since they play during fights and not during the credits(except for Hibiki, whom, to my knowledge, is the only Kamen Rider show to have an actual ending with credits and all every episode)).

It's very difficult for me to decide on this one, being so out of the genre for a LONG time. I love them both equally as far as openings go right now!

Kamen Rider shows with end credits and songs: Hibiki, Kuuga, every Showa era series.

Personally I like the Rider themes better. I've listened to a lot of Sentai themes and, honestly, after awhile they mostly started to sound the same (especially the 00s series).

Why would it be? It's not an opening theme song.

Sentai and Rider opening themes are about the same. Doesn't matter eitherway because they both fail compared to Power Ranger themes anyways :p

Its hard to think of worse themes than the ones for Operation Overdrive and Mystic Force.

Say what you will about how terrible some Power Rangers theme songs are, but you have to agree that the openings feel like an adrenaline rush in comparison to most Sentai openings.

That might be true. But RPM's rap is worse than most anything.

One I'm currently in love with. Especailly he visuals, it matches Kabuto perfectly.

I love Kabuto's opening. I'm not entirely sure why, to be honest, but I love it nonetheless x3
