One Image Says It All - Gokaiger Episode 50 Preview
 

Story title sums it up. Next week, Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger fans finally get that moment they've been salivating for.

Gokaiger is going out with a blast. Check your favorite fansub sites over the next day or so to check out Episode 49 ... and wait that really painful week until we can see this scene (image attached) in action.

Now this... This I can have actual nostalgic memories of. Can't wait till next week. :D

I saw it while watching the RAW and I had to pause the video feed. Literally said "NO FUCKING WAY!". It's not a MMPR homage by any means ... but for MMPR fans, this was one of those defining moments in the series, when Jason the Red Ranger ends up using Tommy's Dragon coin as, really, the first "Battlizer" ... even though it was never called as such.

I'll be interested to see how using this actually plays out since there isn't a specific key for it. Maybe it means we'll see Gai using the dragon ranger key again? XD

Who knows, either way can't wait for next week :D

Doesn't it also happen it Zyuranger also after Green dies? Well, still could be a homage to MMPR. Depends how they play it out. Maybe combine their keys? They're trying to put in as many homages as they can near the end :lol.

I have a feeling that the homage is certainly in the writer's mind, especially with Go-Buster's "It's Morphin' Time" and the use of the term "Megazords".

Oh I know there's more episodes, but if you saw the preview ... there's a lot of stuff going down in this episode.

Why is Tyrannoranger with the Dragonranger shield uniquely MMPR enough for it to be a reference?

Where did they use the term "Megazord?" That's pretty awesome.

It's not. They didn't even use it in Zyu2 footage. >__> It was used the same amount of time in Zyu as it was in MMPR.

On Go-Buster Ace's scan, it quite literally says "Go-Buster MegaZord complete" on the top. I'll post it later if you wanna see it.

I think they saved it for last cause it was the first for american audiences.kinda cemented the sentai/pr legacy.Also finger's crossed for a Gokaioh/Megazord merge.

Oh hell yes! Im kinda bummed we dint get a clusterfuck mz this year with gokiger, but that would make it all better.
