Next Kamen Rider series rumours?
 

Only about halfway through Fourze and the rumour mill has started turning. Found this over on dukemon22's blog

While it isn't a lot and has come from 2ch, thought it might be worth mentioning since said poster apparently broke other news.

whatever it is I'm sure it can't get more wacky than Fourze :lol But following logic, the next one would most likely have a "5" in it's name somehow right? maybe a "V" or "Go"? Faiz already got the "555" thing... so maybe "Kamen Rider GO" or "Kamen Rider V5Go" :lol

I can see it now. Kamen Rider Vibe! He has to kill 5 piggies on angry birds to henshin.

I hope the next Rider series goes back to being less campy. Not that Fourze isn't fun at times, but it realllllly starts to drain you when every other moment seems to be goofy and humorous.

I kind of hope they drop the whole number thing. I mean when do you stop something like that? Four/Fourze would make sense with its ties to the 40th anniversary.

The rumour doesn't give away much anyway, that and this time last year we were supposedly getting a rider that used monster eggs to henshin =p

Ooh, cool. This will be an awesome follow up to last year's Zodiac themed show and this year's gashopon-themed Kamen Rider Dragon!

Yeah, I don't believe new Rider series rumors until at least late June.

Kinda find it ironic that some of those traits did appear in our current and last series (gashapon theme found in Kamen Rider Birth and the Western Zodiac being the Horoscopes.)

You don't even need the salt shaker with how early in the game this is :lol.

Remember the rumors for what ended up being Fourze? While there isn't a Billy the Kid mode, I guess Meteor is the closest to having a Bruce Lee mode.

There is billy the rod though, guess it could have come from there. There's also the Harrison ford/ barizun sword coming out too... Which is completely unrelated, I just like the pun =]

Didn't someone on this board mention that the basic concept for a Rider show is more or less established a year beforehand?

While it would be quite funny to have a Rider with a theme of high-end electronics, in keeping with the Faiz jokes, it's probably important to remember some of the wackier rumors, like the ones about Decade. Also, it took 2 episodes before people stopped saying "Fouze" and "Fours".
My point is, don't worry about how factual the rumors are, worry about how stupid you'll look for worrying about the details of a show that won't exist for another 23-ish weeks.

I believe Toei and PLEX (does PLEX do the designs?) can make most themes work. The research and development department will certainly have weighed the pros and cons of different themes.

Could care less about designs and themes.
Fourze, Decade, and OOO have shown me that aesthetic can all but be ignored for a fun ride and interesting story.

Very interesting if true. Damn that's a cool design. I don't know if I totally feel the colors but I like it over all. Now, where's the 5 puzzle pieces he has to build into a shuriken and shove into his belt to henshin? :lol

I think it's a great idea and suit looks very cool.

Kamen Rider Rumor: Next series will take place in Japan. And yes, you can quote me xD

We should know what the next Rider is by the end of June at the latest. If past tradition holds true he'll be debuting in Fourze's summer movie. Until then I tend to be leery about the rumors since we've had a lot of fake ones pop up.

Yeah actually. It's a newer concept much like how the next years Sentai will appear in the current years film (just as Gobusters did in Gokaiger Vs Gavan).

W appeared in Decade: All-Riders Vs Dai Shocker. OOO Appeared in W: A to Z Gaia Memories of Fate, and Fourze appeared in OOO: Wonderful the Movie. So by that logic Saido will appear in Fourze: Friendship is magic (which needs to be the title of his summer film).

Yeah, usually it's just a quick cameo. For example, in last years OOOs movie, Fourze crash lands, says a few lines, then gets a call on the radar module and leaves. You don't even get to see Gentaro, just Fourze already henshin'd,

I always wanted a ninja Kamen Rider (KR X doesn't count), so I hope this rumor is true.

No actually. He de-henshins right in front Eiji and they do the handshake. Then runs off into the forest.

Actually, no, you do get to see Gentaro (and Kengo, if i remember correctly). Both Gentaro and Eiji appeared both out of suit and in-costume in their first appearances. Shotaro and Philip were the only two that didn't appear untransformed.

Which actually makes sense since W is 2 people. Phillip would have been nowhere near the battle had they debuted that way and it would have been confusing to explain in the context of that cameo.

Neat design, though I don't really get that belt. I hope this turns out to be the next series cause he doesn't look like he continues the trend of "how many extra pieces of crap can we jam into a belt this year?".

^This. I'm warming up to Fourze, aside from the eyebrows. I'm sorry, I am, but they still bother me. I love the rocket helmet design, the different States (Especailly Magnet), and ... Yea the switches are a little much. Especailly with the ones he uses once then forgets about ever again. Camera, and on and on. So if this new does use something like that, with 'alot of crap jammed into his belt at once', hopefully it's alot of crap stuffed into his belt all at once he actually uses.

Hmmm... I could see Saido and the Smartphone Rider being one in the same, the Smartphone rider was supposed to be a Faiz sequel, Saido has a Xi motif, and doesn't his belt somewhat resemble the Faiz Belt?

Calling him kamen rider xi would be quite cool, as it's the 14th letter in the Greek alphabet and this is the 14th Heisei rider series. It's also a river in china though...Also a cool nod to showa riders.

Either way, I'm not totally sold on the concept art , could be cool in real life, if real , or it might not =p

i liked that new design that is rumored, though the shuriken on his face i am not fond of, but overall its a nice design

honestly no, after the insanity that is fourze's design, i'm ready for something more calmer
