Kamen Rider Beast - Identity Revealed!
 

Henshin Justice Unlimited have reported that the Ganbaride Card Game mobile site (which is only available on Japanese mobile phones) has leaked the identity of Kamen Rider Beast, the secondary rider soon to appear on Kamen Rider Wizard. If you don't want to be spoiled, look away now!

It seems the Beast will in fact be a new character, following the trend of secondary riders from the last few years. His name is Kousuke Nitoh, who is described as a wizard of ancient times that consumes mana from Phantoms.

Kamen Rider Beast's actor is still unknown at this stage, but stay tuned to TokuNation.com for more news. In the meantime, discuss this revelation after the jump!

I knew it would've been a new character.
But once, just once, it would be nice to have a previously established character become the secondary rider. I know it wouldn't break up the status quo much, but that doesn't mean the events would be anticlimactic or anything. If I could get a secondary Rider story that brings back an older character, like Kengo from Kiva, I would be happy.
Let me guess. Beast is gonna be an abrasive jerk who is a better fighter than Wizard and only tolerates him because he shares his battle against the Phantoms, but eventually softens up and joins Haruto.
At least when OOO did it Gotou wasn't Birth yet...

Thank god, I'm sick of people saying Shupei could be Beast.:rolleyes

Alternate personality spurned on by the Phantom inside him not being entirely dead?

I know this is grasping at the wildest of straws, but I just want a character that's not retreading Zeronos/Ixa/Accel/Meteor's personality again...

This Kamen Rider stuff is becoming SUPER predictable. It's like you can't break the mold at all with these shows anymore.

Not necessarily a complaint, just an observation.

That's the problem, it gets boring after awhile.

But it is broken. We've had this exact same kind of character for 7 years straight now (This is all based on my (Most likely correct) assumption that he'll play all the same traits and tropes the other secondary riders have).

He might even try to eat the Dragon

I like it! Love the story, love the picture. There's nothing I don't like!

Based on the description I have a feeling he'll be actively trying to have Gates fall into despair so he can eat the newborn Phantoms, or something along those lines that will put him at odds with Wizard. No surprise that he's a new character.

Uh, ZeoRangerV, maybe add a spoiler tag on his identity? Kinda makes it redundant to say "look away!" when people can see the name as it's clearly bolded :lol

Spoiler tags added. And I'm glad to see it's not Shunpei, those this most recent episode would have made it acceptable to me. Sad to see that it's not Rinko too. I was hoping she'd be more important to the everything. I still have a small glimmer of hope that White Wizard is Wajima though.

I can't ever see Shunpei as someone like Beast. It will just be plain weird.

I can totally envision Shunpei as Beast.
Anyone who's seen Avengers EMH could do it, with something similar to Hank Pym and Yellowjacket.

I'm fairly sick of seeing a new guy become the new rider. Why even waste time developing supporting cast characters if they never can aspire to be like the hero? We need more Kagamis and more Gotous.

Exactly. The growth of the characters is pointless if, at the end of the day, their entire purpose was shining Haruto's shoes.
Give Shunpei magic, let Rinko actually be able to hurt Phantoms with her gun. Something to make these characters serve a purpose other than Haruto's servants.

Maybe next year it will be someone we know/care about before episode 16, when he gets introduced.
