Power Rangers Megaforce "Gosei Ultimate Megazord" for Fall 2013
 

A recent magazine scan has confirmed the existence of the "Gosei Ultimate Megazord," which-if anything like its Sentai counterpart- should be the last entry in the Megaforce Rangers' arsenal.

So, if this is the Fall 2013 Megazord...what will the Spring 2014 be?

Wow...

The face on the original always bugged me, especially after I noticed it had lips of all things...

But the weird textures on this one and the incredibly flat gold really do a good job at making this one look like crap.

it's crazy how many toys they'll have to cram into 20 episodes though.....

I wonder that. Part of me thinks since the character is most likely Gosei himself it'll just fill some extra hero slot like Auric the Conqueror.

I wanted to hate this. I wanted to see it, and shrug my shoulders. As much as I don't like chrome flaking I didn't think I like it just painted on this.. But I like him. I doubt he'll be the same size as Ultimate in BoJ, but still. I very much want this.

Meh. If it does anything that stick to Gosei Greats back as a triangle and maybe bandai changes that, Ill buy it, but if not, wont waste my time.

This thing is incredibly weak sauce compared to the real Gosei Ultimate. Yet another example of BOA taking a great toy and simplifying it down into an awful one.

I hope it does. But at the same time I'll never connect it to Gosei Great's back. I never liked that mode.

ok not bad then 3 zords 3 train bike 3 animal vehicles not a bad amount nice symety numbers.

Trust me Sentai, you can afford it. The DX Goseiger stuff is dirt cheap. I think I paid $40 for Ultimate and that was the most I paid for any of my Gosei DX's.

Can I just say that I've grown to hate Gosei Ultimate? It's a lame flying triangle with a face on it's chest for robot mode.

Eating my words. My big question is will it have a more cohesive jet mode or will it have the same gaps as the BoJ mold? The shoulders do seem a little higher but not by much..
But it even has the wheels right above the face like the BoJ mold.

dunno.. need more pictures. Plenty of time to make a decision, though.

My question exactly. I haven't found any Goseiger stuff anywhere close to that price aside from Headder Sets...I'm curious where you found them. Mandarake?

^ this . I always thought the final combo for goseiger was a letdown. Hyper ground gosei great works better.

I never cared about the toyetic nature of Power Rangers until recently, and now that I do, oh man they are going all out with it.

I just checked them on ebay.. then maybe that's my problem.

I just wanna get this to make Miracle Ground Hyper Gosei Great.:D

I feel that the only thing the original DX version had going for it was the chrome, other than that, it's still an ugly ass design.

The original is also well designed with a lot of nice ratcheting joints that are missing on this scaled back version. The legs and arms seem to have lost alot of functionality.

Go, Flying Triangle with a face!!! This does look pretty ugly though. If they don't make it do something other than be a triangle and attach to Gosei Great's back, I won't even consider buying it.

Wait how do already know the joints are not ratcheting? It's almost a crime to not have non-ratcheting joints on a Power Rangers/Super Sentai toy!

I'm just going based on the usual things BOA does to good toys. The real Gosei Ultimate has a left/right hip, a 360 swivel thigh, and ratcheting knees. This thing looks like it has the hip intact but no thigh. It looks very simplified. I'm willing to bet that for backpack mode, where the hands for Ultimate form the tip of the triangle, that they removed the extra joints that allow it to collapse.

I don't get the complaints. Den-O said himself you can get the Ultimate Great cheap online, so buy one. If you don't like Ultimate Gosei Megazord then don't buy it. I am. .. But then I'm a Gosei-Whore, so.

The entire line of DX Goseiger stuff is pretty cheap to be honest. You can get any of the 4 main mecha for 4000 yen or less. Datas even dips down to 1000 pretty often. The header sets all sell for less than 1000, consistently. The only stuff that could difficult to find cheaply is Gosei Wonder and the special releases of the Exotic Headers.

You just have to know where to look for these things to get them at good prices. Mandarake has been very good to me in that regard. Don't let ebay or especially Amazon prices fool you. They are horribly skewed.

Gah, if Power Rangers goes the path of Transformers and starts using cheap plastic and non-ratcheting joints I weep for the future of robot toys.

Well I just hope this affordability and availability extends to the Super Sentai lines following Goseiger. I don't mind waiting for things to appear on Mandarake as long as it doesn't price gouge.

I say that were all jumping the gun on judgments. It's a photo of a Bandai of America toy,in German.Nothing against Germans or other languages,I just like seeing photos of it in someones hands,and a lot clearer then a random ad/paper shot.
