Megaforce Web Site Updated- Ranger Character Bios
 

In the wake of the first teaser hitting earlier today, the Nickelodeon Megaforce web page has put up several new bits of information, including character bios for the five main Rangers.

This does sound like the original team, just yellow and pink are reversed :lol

I see they're starting the shipping early this year.

Also, I've just realised they've turned a brother/sister relationship into (one-sided) romantic one :lol

Which is especially strange when you consider that Black & Yellow were siblings in Goseiger.

You know I don't think I'm going to be able to watch this show with out thinking about Goseiger and how black and yellow are brother and sister, and now black has a crush yellow ya technically not incest but we probably will think of it as insect

True that when you see the crossover footage we know it and also has everyone notice since RPM the broke the red ranger fallen in love trened

I never thought there would be a day when Power Rangers would have something to do with incest.

I can see why they did this , considering in most of the Sentai footage they tag along together. Atleast it would explain why.

You had better not botch this up, Saban. Samurai is part of the reason my childhood died last year (the final blow being dealt by the death of Peter Parker). You had better be able to at least resurrect it into a comatose state. Otherwise, I come for your souls.

Yeah that would be kinda weird with black and yellow since you always think of them as siblings in Goseiger now there's a one-sided romance thing with Megaforce.

Eh, if you read enough manga and watched enough un-dubbed Japanese Anime like me, you'd get used to it :lol

Kinda glad they aren't gonna be using the Gokaiger suits now, especially with Blue's bio, considering Joe was one of the most badass sword-wielding Blue Senshi and Noah is stated to lack physical coordination.

so my first thoughts of these bios of the team

red- a loner new guy but a leader and becomes good friends, anyone else think it sounds like Nick from MF?

blue- a techsavvy socially awkward nerd, of course its a new billy but me being that myself, I think I am rootng for blue in this series

black- a popular everyone knows him and friends with the nerd, damn sounds like me and my friend (and the gosei bro-sis thing and him havng a crush on yellow is :lolol)

yellow- the hot popular chick but friends with the more none popular pink as someone else said mmpr just swapped?

pink- a nature-lovin bmx ridin girl, sounds good, but how many times are we gonna get the extreme sports thing with rangers?

Are they starting a trend where the Green/Black is crushing on Yellow? That'd kinda work for Gokaiger....

i know what you mean i remeber the trend being Red and the female thats pink or yellow depeneding on the snetai its adapted from but RPM broke the trend with dillion and summer

Come to think of it, I can't think of a decent in-team brother/sister relationship that's happened yet. Ninja Storm had 2 brothers (albeit loosely) and Mystic Force had 2 sisters, but the only brother/sister one (Lightspeed Rescue) fell kind of flat.

EDIT: Forgot about Gem and Gemma, who weren't bad I guess.

Well they didn't do Fiveman, and missed their chances with GoGoV (Lightspeed Rescue) and Magiranger (Mystic Force), plus with the "shipping/ship tease two rangers" thing, doesn't look like it :/

I do wonder why Saban/Disney missed out on two chances for a full-sibling team. Now, they're getting rid of the sibling pair in Goseiger too. I think they did this to maintain the Power Rangers' status as a diverse group.

Gem and Gemma were great from a sibling angle. :)
