Good to see they fit the story.

That was the idea. I think all of my creations, whether they be this, my music, anything meticulously to where it fits.

Also, both the opening and ending themes have been added.

Ken tōshi Sentai StarRanger Episode One
 

For millions of years, the universe and all of the galaxies have been illuminated by the stars. These stars have provided a shining light of hope and salvation for many, and have also been inspiration for a Milena of mythology and folklore.

And for the length of time that the stars have been around, so have fearsome warriors. From the mighty cavemen, to Spartans, gladiators, to today's modern day soldiers. Warriors have been around to cause evil, and to protect what they care for.

Episode One: Star Birth

The cold darkness of the space within the Milky Way galaxy sits in it's usual and harmony like way. The planets rotating around the sun, billions of stars dying, being birthed, and shining like a billboard. The sun, a blazing mega start sitting in the middle of all of this. It truly is a peaceful place.

On the outside of the galaxy however, a giant spaceship, in the shape an arrow with bug like wings is flying across space, it on a one way course towards the doorway of the milky galaxy. Surrounding this giant bug like spaceship are soldier like aircraft, each in the form of a double bladed axehead.

Inside this warship like craft's main bridge and briefing room, sits Lord Xorpeon, commander of the Xespian Army and ruler of this, his ship in his throne. His right hand gripping his staff that is that of a scythe. it's top decorated with multiple blades in a row, each one in the traditional scythe blade shape, each one sporting teeth like a saw. His left hand lays across the left arm of his throne. He lifts his head, hearing the door to this room opening.

"Greetings Lord Xorpeon." Sillite, second to Zorpeon, and a high ranking sergeant and warrior within the Xespian Army says, as he walks into the bridge. Sillite's appearance is that of a humanoid like shark, his head in the shape of a regular human head, it sporting three horn like fins at the top.

"Greetings Sillite. What is it that you need?" Xorpeon spits back in return.

"We are approximately thirty minutes away from entering the Milky Galaxy."

"Excellent. And what planets feature life? It wouldn't be fun to conquer a galaxy without any living beings on it to crush." Xorpeon questions, his gaze dead set on his second hand man.

"Our scientists and scouts have reported that there is life within the galaxy. Most of it is nothing more then plant life, and tiny creatures such as insects and bacteria." Sillite states.

"I see..." Xorpeon says cool like, drumming the fingers of his left hand along the arm of his throne, he soon returning to talking.

"...You said most. What of this other life that this putrid place holds?"

"There is a planet named Earth. It houses a very large amount of life. We have noted that it contains animals, plant life, bacteria, as well as humans."

"Humans you say?" Xorpeon says in an inquiring fashion.

"Yes, humans. The whole planet is filled with them. Reports say that the number is well into the billions. Only Earth houses human life, and that much amount of life period within the galaxy." Sillite explains to his commander.

"I see." Xorpeon stands up, and walks over to a window, letting him watch the space that his ship is moving through, Sillite still standing near the door.

"Sillite, our master has sent us to conquer as much of the galaxy as needed as he takes care of our home world within the Neutronian dimension. And let's be frank, this universe has not featured that much of a challenge.

Yes, there were a few planets that fought back, but they all fell easily. But this galaxy sounds like it would be fun to take over. That much life must mean that there is a great deal of people ready to fight for it's safety. Which means crushing it will be very enjoyable, even orgasmic you might say.

Sillite."

"Yes my lord?"

"I want our troops on every planet this galaxy has, but I want this ship headed for this planet known as Earth. It is my main goal as of now. Is that understood?"

"Yes sir." Sillite nods his head in response with his verbal come back.

"Good. You are dismissed until you are needed."

"Yes sir. Hail Xespia!" Sillite bows before he exits the room. Xorpeon continues to stare out of the window even after Sillite leaves, he clutching his staff tighter, he laughing softly.

Meanwhile on Earth, an alarm goes off in an observatory on the North Eastern edge of Tokyo Japan. The observatories workers rush to see what has caused the alarm to go off. As the main computer lab of the observatory looks into the trigger, Doctor Joe Nakamusa walks in, pushing his glasses up his face some before they fall off.

"What seems to be the problem Dr. Mutoh?" Nakamusa asks.

"It appears that there is a great amount of energy being forced against the outer edges of our galaxy. It appears that something is trying to break through almost." Dr. Mutoh explains, looking up from a small computer screen to make eye contact with Nakamusa.

"I see." Nakamusa replies, scratching his head some.

"Doctors, look at the main screen!" A scientists shouts out, causing Doctors Nakamusa and Muto, as well as everybody else in the room to look at a giant wall screen.

As they look at the screen, which is looking at a random point of space, red and purple lightning starts to flash rapidly, green blasts of what appear to be energy shootout, the space around this area spirals, almost forming a type of blackhole. Doctor Nakamusa stares in stunned silence, his eyes wide, jaw almost dropped as a giant space ship passes into the Milky Way, smaller ships flying to the sides of it.

"Good lord...it's them..." Dr. Nakamusa says, almost in a whisper like tone.

"Who is them Joe?" Dr. Mutoh asks, looking at his friend and fellow colleguage, a worried look painted across his face.

"It's the army that we were warned about in that videograph from the Andromeda Galaxy a few months ago."

"A are you sure?"

"I am most definitely sure. Dr. Shinrai." Dr. Nakamusa says, looking towards one of the female scientists.

"Yes sir?" Dr. Shinrai replies.

"It is time. Please bring me the files, the "box" quickly."

"Hai! Anything else?"

"Yes, contact and bring the selected here." Nakamusa says.

"As you wish." Dr. Shinrai stands up and bows to Dr. Nakamusa, running out of the room.

"Are you sure we need to bring them in Joe?" Dr. Mutoh inquires his friend.

"I am positive, we may not have any other options."

At Takami High School in the South Western part of Tokyo, the school day is over, a cool Spring breeze running through out the area, cheery blossoms beginning to bloom. The students walk, some even run out of the school, off to do their activities away from learning.

Ayu Yukishiro, her sister Sora, and Hiko Kasai all walk with each other out of the school and down a path, leading them outside of the school's area and into a shopping district.

"Muhheghh that was a pretty rough day. I had to take tests in all of my classes." Ayu says as she yawns, stretching her arms over her head.

"Ayu you had it easy. I ended up having to take over teaching duties for a few of my classes. The teachers either didn't show up, and the substitutes were complete bakas." Hiko says, he closing his eyes and brushing some of his hair back.

"Oh Hiko, you poor little thing. Let your best buddy Ayu make it all better." Ayu giggles softly, throwing her arms around Hiko's neck, pressings her lips to his cheek for a friendly kiss. "Sora, how was your day?" Ayu pulls away from her male friend, looking over to her sister.

"Oh the usual, I went to two, got bored of everybody and left to sleep on the track." She replies, almost coldly, keeping her gaze on their path.

"Sora, you really should stay in your classes and not skip as much. I've seen your work, and you're very smart. If you just keep it up and study and participate more, you'd be at the top like your sister and I." Hiko explains to Sora, attempting to get through her thick head.

"Whatever." Sora spits right back out.

"Oh hush you two. Come on, I'll buy us all some ice cream." Ayu squeaks out, attempting to stop a possible fight from happening. Sora and Hiko shrug in agreement, bringing a smile to Ayu's face.

The trio continue walking down the sidewalk, they continuing their voyage to get a little after school treat. All of a sudden, a black car comes speeding down the road, breaking, and coming to a squeaking halt in to the group of friend's side. The right passenger door open, Dr. Shinrai getting out, walking until she is standing in front of the three.

"Hiko Kasai, Ayu Yukishiro, and Sora Yukishiro?" Dr. Shinrai asks the group, staring at them through her glasses.

"Hai. Hai. Hai?" All three teens respond.

"Please come with me immediately, it is urgent."

The three friends look back and forth at each other, to the car, and to the woman dressed in a lab coat standing in front of them. They all shuffle into the car, almost reluctantly. Dr. Shinrai climbs in after them, and shuts the passenger door. The black car then speeds off.

Dr. Shinrai leads Hiko, Ayu, and Sora into the main computer screening room. She then takes a stand to the side as Dr. Nakamusa and Dr. Mutoh walk up to the teenagers, standing in front of them.

"Knochi wa to the three of you." Dr. Nakamusa says in a greeting manner.

"My name is Doctor Nakamusa. These are my assistants Doctor Mutoh, and Doctor Shinrai."

The three scientists, and the three friends bow respectively to each other, Hiko, Ayu, and Sora showing some restraint at first before doing so.

"Konochi wa Nakamusa-san. May I ask why we are here?" Hiko speaks softly, being respectful to his elder.

"Let me explain Hiko." Dr. Nakamusa replies.

"You know my name?"

"I know all of your names. I would considering I picked you three."

"Picked us for what?" Ayu questions, taking a light hold of her sister's school jacket sleeve.

"Yeah, why exactly did you kidnap us?" Sora barks out, she egtting her mouth covered almost immediately by Hiko and Ayu before she can say anything else.

"I apologize for my sister's rudeness." Ayu squeaks out.

"It is alright Miss Yukishiro. And we didn't kidnap you considering you came of your own free will." Dr. Nakamusa says, straightening his tie a little.

"Anyways, I suppose I should explain myself. I picked you three to participate in a project that we here at the observatory are now beginning to operate."

"What is the project?" Hiko asks respectfully unlike that of one of his companions.

Dr. Nakamusa looks over to both Dr. Mutoh and Shinrai before turning to face the children. He takes a deep breath, and releases a sigh.

"For years now, we have studied space. And as technology has advanced and improved greatly, we've gained the ability to actually communicate with galaxies outside of our own. It's give us insight on to how space is outside of our little territory, and search for possible future planets that we can live on.

Three months ago however, we received an urgent message from the Andromeda Galaxy. They were under attack from an army from what they said was either a newly made galaxy, or another dimension entirely. They told us to be careful and stay on alert of any unusual activity within our galaxy. They also told us the name of this army. The Xespian Army.

Well, at around 1:43 this afternoon, we spotted the Xespians breaking into the Milky Way Galaxy, obvious our galaxy. After we saw this, I instructed Dr. Shinrai to gather the five of you up."

"Five us? Sir I would never go against a scientist or doctor, but there's only three of us." Ayu noted, pointing to herself, her sister, and Hiko.

Dr. Nakamusa chuckled a little. He then turned towards Dr. Shinrai, and made a waving motion with his hand. She nodded, and pressed a button on a wall console, a door on the right side of the group of teenagers opening. Through the door walked out another teenager, he dressed in casual clothing, he blowing some hair out of his face, his hands deep in his short pockets. He walked over, standing to the side of the group.

"This is Ryuji Enishi. He is one of the top students within Japan's homeschooling system." Dr. Nakamusa explained.

"Konochi wa." Ryuji spoked in a soft manner, he bowing towards the doctors and Hiko, Ayu, and Sora, they nodding their heads in return. His gaze would only return to Dr. Nakamusa after looking at the three for a minute, nodding a little to Ayu.

"Okay, that explains four, but what of five?" Sora questioned.

"Well..." Dr. Nakamusa started.

Before he could finish, another door opened, a teenager with semi long hair walking in, dressed in Hiko and company's school uniform, he yawning a little.

"Kazu?" Ayu asked, staring almost dumbstruck towards her classmate.

"Oh, konochi wa Ayu-chan. Oh, and hey Hiko, Sora." Kazu greeted. He then turned towards Ryuji, scratching his head a little. "Oh, hey person I don't know."

"This is my nephew, Kazuki Sanouske." Dr. Nakamusa explained, sighing at his nephew's informal greeting towards one of his guests.

"So Uncle Joe, why exactly did you drag me away from the arcade to this place?" Kazu asked, a clueless expression on his face.

"Hai, please tell us Dr. Nakamusa." Ayu said, in what sounded like a begging tone.

"Alright. I have chosen all of you to help us combat the Xespian Army." Dr. Nakamusa explained.

The five teenagers stood there in silence, Kazu then beginning to laugh wildly.

"AHAHAHAHA That's a good one Uncle Joe. So w.."

"SILENCE!" Dr. Nakamusa yelled.

Kazu blinked in astonishment, he hiding behind Sora.

"Protct me Sora-chan, you're big and strong."

"Bugg off Kazu." Sora shot back, pushing him to where he stood in between her and Hiko.

"If I may continue. You see, we don't just study the stars and space. We also assist the Japanese government with it's military equipment, as well as the equipment for a few other countries. For some time now, we've had the technology to give people great power to help them in battle.

We have been saving it for a very dire situation, and this is certainly dire. Dr. Mutoh."

Dr. Mutoh nodded. He then walked over to the five teenagers, he holding a small black and silver box case. He undid a lock on the front of the case before opening it, revealing five bracelets.

"These are what we've called Star-Graphers. You use them to harness and gain the power which I spoke of. There is one for each of you. Please take them, as you will need them." Dr. Nakamusa recited to the five of them.

The group looked back and forth at each other. Ryuji would then speak up.

"But why us? Shouldn't these be given to the Japanese army?"

"We thought of that. We even tried something along those lines at once, but it did not work well. We came to the decision that it would be best to give it to a younger group, and you five were who we picked."

"But, why us exactly?" Hiko question.

"Because of all that you offer.

Hiko, Ayu, you two are at the top of your grade, and of your schools class. You two have earned a great deal of awards and promising futures for that. That is why you two were chosen.

Ryuji, like Hiko and Ayu, you are at the top in your education. You also have a great knowledge of technology, and would be able to assist them within any problems they have with equipment." Dr. Nakamusa explained.

"What about me?" Sora asked, this time a little more polite.

"Ah, Sora-chan. While you're recent grades for the last few years aren't the best, we are aware of how well you tested on an I.Q. test when you started high school. So while you don't always use you're potential, it can still be of great use."

"Heh, so that means I'm pretty smart too eh?" Kazu asked, he closing his eyes, a smile forming across his mouth.

"No, not really. You're grades would be an insult to even that of a first grader. I picked you because of how well you do in martial arts. You're the group's brawn." Dr. Nakamusa said bluntly.

Kazu frowned, crossing his arms.

"Well why should we help you anyways? We're teenagers. We have priorities."

"I don't think wasting your time at an arcade and ramen house are good priorities Kazu." Ayu snickered, giggling some.

"I know this all seems odd, and sudden. But we all picked you because of what I just said. Please, do not do this for me, do this for Japan, and for all of Earth. Even do it for the galaxy that is at risk. Please become StarRangers, I beg you."

Right then, the ground started to shake violently, everybody grabbing onto something. Ayu began to fall, however Ryuji caught her, and brought her back up.

"Sir, the screen!" A scientist yelled.

Everybody turned to the main screen, Xespian foot soldiers, all in the form of humanoid scorpions were running amuck down in Tokyo. They attacking the civilians, and destroying anything they could find. Xespian soldier air craft would be flying through the air, shooting at anything in sight.

Dr. Nakamusa looked towards the five teenagers, Dr. Mutoh looking at Dr. Nakamusa, Dr. Shinrai looking at everybody. The teenagers then all looked to each other, their gazes then returning to the five Star-Graphers.

In the center of Western Tokyo, Xespian soldiers, known as Fangos run around, attacking anybody, and anything they see in sight. Xespian battle ships flying in the sky, shooting at the buildings of the city. Tokyo police try their hardest to fight against these unknown enemies, but end up having to fall back.

A young girl cries as she bunkers down against a wall, a Fango standing over her, making a chuckling like noise in an insectoid language. The creature raises it's arm, and goes to bring it down, looking to kill the girl. But the creature is stopped, a foot slamming into the side of it's head, sending it rolling away. The girl looks up, Kazu standing their huffing a little bit.

"Get to safety little one." Kazu says, looking down towards the young one, giving her a warm smile. The girl smiles and nods in return, she running off.

Kazu then lets out that of a battle cry, he rushing towards a group of Fangos, he starting to fight them off, using various kicks and strikes that are represented by Jet Kun Do. He ducks down as a soldier goes to slash at his head, he ramming his elbow in to it's mid section. Kazu then performing a break dance like spin, he kicking the soldiers back a few feet, he jumping to his feet as well.

Off a little bit, the other four are engaging in combat as well. Sora fights back against the Fangos, she using her skills of a street fighter to send them down. She is suddenly grabbed from behind by two of the creatures, a third going in for a blow. However she flips up, the Fango slashing into his two fellow soldiers as she lands behind where they stood. She then smirked, giving the Fango a kick straight to the throat shades of Shawn Michaels.

Hiko and Ayu fight for themselves as well, they however not having the same amount of success as Kazu and Sora are. In the middle of this brawl, Ryuji continuously ducks down and to the side to avoid being hit. He only striking when the moment is right.

The five teenagers fight bravely, but they soon start to get overrun. The Fangos then run to stand in line in front of the five. They then raise, and point their weapons, fang blades equiped with a blaster to the teenagers. They pull the trigger, blasting all five kids back against a pile of cars.

The group lays on the ground, clutching at themselves in pain from the blast. All of them sporting burn marks, bruises, and cuts. However, Kazu and Ayu make it to their feet first.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not going to let some bugs beat me." Kazu states loudly, almost yelling it towards his comrades and their enemies.

"Kazu's right guys. We can't die, everybody is depending on us to win." Ayu shouts in response to Kazu's statement. the two looking at each other and nodding.

Hiko, Sora, and Ryuji work their way up to their feet, standing in line with Ayu and Kazu. All five of them exchange glances before reaching into their pockets, pulling out their respective Star-Graphers. They look at each other again before strapping them onto their left wrists. Lights go off on the bracelets, shining in the colors of red, green, black, yellow, and purple.

"I'm happy to see that you all are now going to work with us. Arigato, arigato!" Dr. Nakamusa's voice comes out from Ayu's bracelet.

"As you said, we we're chosen, it's our duty to protect Japan." Hiko responds.

"Mhm. Now morph." Nakamusa requests.

"We would, but uh, how do we do that exactly?" Kazu asks, laughing some as the others nod their heads some in agreement.

A sigh can be heard from Dr. Nakamusa.

"There's a button on the front of the Grapher. Hit it."

The teens shrug and do as they are told, a blue circle near the top and front of the morpher flashing after they do so.

"Now turn that golden dial and the constellation you are represented by will pop up.

Once again, they all do as told. They each turn their dials, a star constellation popping up for each of them?

"Phoenix?" Kazu notes.

"Gruss?" Ayu questions.

"Carina?" Hiko ponders.

"Musca..." Sora says, almost disappointingly.

"Cruxx, hmm" Ryuji says.

"Now hit the button again, say 'Gladiator Star Allign!', and you will morph." Dr. Nakamusa explains.

The five teenagers smirk some. They raise their arms into an upright position.

"GLADIATOR STAR, ALIGN!" The five shout, pressing their buttons.

*Cue instrumental of opening*

In a purplish blue space surrounding, each of the teenagers fly up, their respectful constellations coming alive, and flowing over them. This form that of their suits which now cover their body. A chariot, each sporting five stars then charges through each of their heads, forming their helmets.

Once back in the plane of their normal living, they stand in line, each in their suits.

"This is awesome!" Kazu exclaims.

"I've never felt this much power." Ryuji states.

Back at the observatory, Dr. Nakamusa wipes his eyes as Dr. Mutoh and Shinrai smile softly.

"You five have now taken on the power of not only the stars and the constellations, but of the ancient Gladiators. You five are now, Ken tōshi Sentai StarRangers!"

Nice OP and ED. I'd like to see what you pick for insert songs.

Nice start, I'm already liking Sora's "I don't give a fuck" attitude. Also Xorpeon shows promise of being a great villain. Kind of wondering where Kazu and Ryuji are though.

They're coming. And guys remember, that's just the first half of the first episode. There's still more to it.

Episode one is now fully up! I hope you all enjoy it!

Nice start to the series. Love how you're giving voice to the characters, again Sora might be my favorite already. I personally feel that the use of Japanese words feels just a little awkward, it just doesn't seem natural to me. Also when writing a story of any kind, it helps to keep things in past tense when describing what's happening.

It would help the narrative flow better if it were worded like
This is only a tip, so do with it what you will. Other then that, solid introduction to the series. Looking forward to episode 2.

Episode 2: First Loss, Bounce Back StarRangers!

"I can't believe this. We really are StarRangers." Au says excitedly, jumping up and down a little.

"It appears so." Hiko responds, he looking over his arms, clenching his fists some.

"Enough jibber jabber, let's hand these aliens' asses on a silver platter!" Sora proclaims, she clenching her fists, and pumping her right arm in the air.

"Good idea StarYellow!" Kazu shouts.

All five rangers cry out, they then running towards their Xespian foes in one straight line, the scientists at the observatory cheering all at once as they do so. They run into the Xespian army like that of five full galloping horses. Each one one splitting up to take on their own small portion of the Xespian forces.

Ryuji continues running forward, Fangos following him, they blasting him with their weapons. However Ryuji continually jumps up into the air, ducks down or to the side, he constantly avoiding the blasts. He then skids to a stop, and jumps abck, landing in the middle of the Fangos as they stop. He then begins to punch and elbow any foe that he sets his sight on.

"THIS IS AMAZING! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M DOING THIS!" Ryuji proclaims in excitement.

As a Xespian goes to slash at his legs, he jumps up, landing on top of the Fango's shoulders, his arms crossed. "Is that all you got?" He proclaims before making a tsking sounds. He then leaps off of the Fango, landing behind it. He gives it a spinning roundhouse kick to the head, sending it spiraling away.

Meanwhile, Sora is having great luck with her foes as well. As Fangos approach her, she punches them in their neck, following it up with kicks to their legs, and an elbow to their gut. However two of them get the best of her, grabbing hold of her from behind. As she struggles to get loose, four Fangos line up a shot. She smirks behind her helmet, and as they they fire, she snaps her fingers, and like a flash appears behind the shooting group., their blasts slamming into their comrades.

"You bakas need to be quicker to get the best of StarYellow." She comments smugly, she then delivering lightning fast chops to each one of the four Fango's necks, sending them down to the ground.

In the middle of a small court of shops, Ayu continually flips back, dodging multiple slashes from the Fango's blades. As she lands on a car, two Fango's jump up as well, looking to trap her.

"Two on one? Now that isn't really fair. Why don't I just put the ball in my court eh?" She chuckles out.

She then grabs the heads of both Fango's. She goes down against the car by doing a split. After doing so, she throws her arms forward, causing the heads of the two Xespian soldiers to slam into each other. She then kicks herself up in a flip style, ramming both of ehr boots into their respective chins.

She'd then slide of the car, giving the other Fangos that followed her the V for Victory hand sign, she then running off, the Fangos in pursuit.

Hiko on the other hand is having some problems with his offense. Fangos knock him down, he getting up after every shot only to be driven down. Finally, he slams his fists down on the ground, this causing a shockwave, making the Fangos fall down onto their backs.

"What is this strength? I could never do this before? Is this really what I'm capable of as a StarRanger?" He questions.

He then kicks up as another squadron of Xespian's charge at him, As they get close, Hiko begins to punch them, each connecting fist sending the respected hitee flying back a few feet, and ultimately to the ground. He then brings his arm back, and with a mighty scream and howl, slams it down to the ground again. This time, the shock wave is bigger, able to fling nearby cars against the Fango's squashing them like the bugs they are.

"You're dismissed." Hiko exclaims, smirking some beneath his helmet.

As the remaning Fangos stand in the middle of the street, writhing in pain, the StarRangers rejoin each other in line, facing the weakly grunts.

"StarRangers, use your Spartan blasters." Dr. Nakamusa requests.

"You got it doc!" Kazu replies.

The five then reach down to their holsters, pulling out their respective Spartan blasters. They then aim them towards the group of Fangos, pumping their blasters like that of a shotgun.

"3! 2! 1! FIRE!"

They pull the triggers, a blast wave of energy shooting out of the barrels of each blaster, shooting towards the Fangos. The waves then slam into the downed foes, causing them all to explode at once. The group then jumps up and down in joy.

"WOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" Kazu cries out, pumping his fist repeatedly, accidentally shooting out a blast into a nearby building.

"STARRED!" The other four StarRangers scream to their comrade.

"Sorry bout that, we'll say those bugs did it."

"Regardless of our little knuckle head ranger' that was amazing!" Ayu comments

"Indeed it was StarPurple. I'm loving all of this power."

"Well if that's all this big bad Xespian army can do, this will be an easy job." Sora proclaims, placing her left hand against her hip.

"Oh really now?" An unkown voice states.

The StarRangers turn around, they coming face to face with a monster that resembles a combination of a praying mantis.

"W who are you!" Hiko demands, each of the ranger's hands tightening around the handle of their blasters.

"Heh, I am KamakiriPian, general of the 53rd division of the Xespian Army!"

"Kamakiri = Mantis*


"Well whatever and whoever you are bug head, eat this!" Kazu shouts.

He then aims his Spartan blaster at KamakiriPian, Sora and Ryuji following his lead. They pull the triggers, shooting rapid blasts of energy towards the Xespian general. However the monster smirks, raving his right arm, which is in the shape of a scythe, sending the blasts into a building.

He then crosses both of his scythe arms into the shape of an X. He then brings them down across the air, sending an X shaped wave of dark energy at the StarRangers. It slams into them causing them to flip in the air, and fall down to the ground, making them demorph.

"STARRANGERS!" Dr. Nakamusa screams, everybody in the observatory staring at the screen in stunned silence.

"Is that all you have heroes?" KamakiriPian asks, laughing at the downed rangers.

The five teenagers stand up, their covered in soot, their faces and bodies bruised, burnt, and cut, each one sporting blood upon their faces and heads. Kenta goes to move forward, but falls to his knees, cluthing at his body in pain.

"StarRangers retreat. I repeat, StarRangers repeat!" Dr. Nakamusa shouts into a microphone, it echoing out of their Star-graphers.

"B b but..." Ryuji starts to say.

"No buts! Just retreat if you value your lives!" Nakamusa proclaims, tearing up a tad.

All five students look at each other, Kazu and Hiko sighing. They, with the help of each other stand up, and quickly run walk away from the battlefield, KamakiriPian laughing as they run away.

At the observatory, the group sits in a circle, all of them bandaged up, still moaning some in pain. Dr. Nakamusa and Shinrai standing above them, looking down at them worried with some anger.

"We were doing so well..." Ayu says, bowing her head out of shame, her hair falling down into her face.

"Dammit!" Ryuji mutters, slamming his fist down onto a metal cart. He then realizes what he did, and his hand shoots back up, he clutching it in pain as he shuts his eyes.

"KamakiriPian did seem pretty strong. He was able to deflect your attacks with a simple flick of the wrist." Dr. Shinrai says solemnly

Kazu sits there, staying silent, his eyes narrowed. He repeatedly clenches and un clenches his fists.

"That's it, I'm going back out there to beat that son of a bitch!" He proclaims. He goes to stand up, but clutches at his his leg and chest, sliding back down into his chair, the others looking at him in worried. A doctor rushing over to check on his condition.

"I admire your fighting spirit my nephew, but for now just sit here and rest." Dr. Nakamusa states, sadness in his voice as he looks at his injured family member.

"Not to disrespect you Dr. Nakamusa, but Kazu has the right train of thought. We can't just let KamakiriPian stay out there and attack all of those people." Hiko replies, he speaking respectfully while rubbing his bruised neck.

"Hiko.." Kazu and Dr. Nakamusa say softly at the same time.

The five teenagers and doctors shortly return to silence, all of them looking down in despair.

On Xorpeon's ship, he sits in his throne room, Sillite and KamakiriPian standing in front of him.

"Excellent work earlier General KamakiriPian. You really took it to those Earthling punks." Xorpeon states, a chuckle in his voice as he talks.

"Why thank you Commander. I'm sure they won't be back for a while with the way I left them when they retreated!" KamakiriPian commented back.

"KamakiriPian you may return to Earth when ready. Continue your obliteration of any and all life that get in your way and do not praise Xespia." Sillite orders.

"You got it Sergeant!"

"Dismissed." Xorpeon says.

KamakiriPian salutes both Sillite and Xorpeon before exiting the bridge. After he leaves, Sillite turns to face his commander.

"Do you really think we've seen the last of these StarRangers sir?" He asks.

"Hmm, I do believe that they will prove to be a pain in my side. For now though, let us see how KamakiriPian deals with them. For he will give us a good show of their abilities when facing a true warrior."

"I see my liege."

"Sillite..." Xorpeon starts, saying it in a leading manner.

"Yes sir?" Sillite repleis.

"I'm expecting KamakiriPian to fail. So I'd like for you to bring in any generals that we may be able to sue. If I'm going to conquer this galaxy, I can't have younglings in my way."

"As you wish my liege."

"Good. You are dismissed until further notice Sillite. Hail Xespia." Xorpeon says.

"Hail Xespia." Sillite replies.

Outside of the observatory, Ayu stands on a balcony, looking over Tokyo. She sighs some, wind blowing against her face. Ryuji then walks up to her, standing to her side.

"Are you feeling alright Ayu-chan?" He asks sincerely.

"I'm doing fine Ryuji."

"That's good. We can't have one of our assets feeling bad now can we?" He asks her, he chuckling softly.

"Yeah, I suppose we can't." Ayu replies, laughing some as well.

"Sooo, your sister, is she always like that?"

"Not always. Sora's always been a bit of a stubborn head, and I'll admit, she can be annoying. But beneath it all, she really is a good mannered and kind person."

"So why does she act like she's a bad ass?" Ryuji questions some more.

"I think it's because of our family life. We only have our father. I guess having to protect not only her sister, but her father has hardened her.?

"What happened to your mother?"

"...."

"O oh...I I'm sorry for bringing it up.." Ryuji says, stumbling and stuttering.

"It's alright Ryuji." Ayu replies, she giving him a soft smile, which he returns a few seconds later.

Hiko, Sora, and Kazu sprint through the door to the balcony. Ayu and Ryuji turning to see them in surprise.

"What is it guys?" Both Ayu and Ryuji ask, a little stunned by their comrades sudden appearance.

"We just heard a report that there's a mantis like monster in downtown Eastern Tokyo." Hiko explains.

"I don't give two shits what Kazu's uncle says, I'm going down there." Sora proclaims, anger in her voice from her previous defeat.

"I'm with hard head!" Kazu spits out in response.

Sora then punches Kazu roughly in his bandaged arm, he clutching it, saying ow over and over.

"Call me hard head again and see what happens."

"Okay okay.." Kazu says meekly.

"Are you guys in?" Hiko says, the three of them staring at Ayu and Ryuji. Ryuji and Ayu look at the group, and then at each other.

Back inside of the observatory, Dr. Shinrai and Nakamusa rush into the main viewing room.

"We heard the alarm! What's going on!" Dr. Nakamusa shouts towards Dr. Mutoh.

"KamakiriPian has reappeared, and is causing havoc!" Dr. Mutoh explains urgently.

"I see. I'll contact the military immediately."

"Dr. Nakamusa...." Dr. Shinrai speaks up quietly.

"What is it Dr. Shinrai?"

"T they're gone..."

"Whose gone?"

"The kids."

Dr. Nakamusa looks around the viewing room in a panic, he not being able to sight the teenagers. He then looks over at security computer, checking all of the security cameras. He then staggers back some, clutching his his tie.

"Dear lord...."

In the downtown area of Eastern Tokyo, KamakiriPian stands, sending dark energy waves at buildings, causing them to fall apart. He also laughs, watching Fangos attack the citizens.

"God I love this. Chaos, death, destruction, who needs medicine when you have those!?" He proclaims, laughing afterwards.

The Fangos cheer with their general. However the celebration is cut short, Kazu drop kicking one to the ground. As he stands up, Ayu, Hiko, Sora, and Ryuji run to his side, they staring down at the Xespian.

"Oh look, those ranger punks are back. Did you not feel enough pain the last time, or are you ready to die?" KamakiriPian questions the five teenagers, returning their cold stare with a chuckle.

"Laugh all you want. We might have gone down before, but we bounce back quickly." Kazu states, clenching his right fist in front of his face.

"That's right. Just like the stars we represent, even if we go down, we reform ourselves." Hiko explains.

"And this time, we won't be the ones on the ground." Sora proclaims with a smirk on her face.

"Oh really now?" KamakiriPian asks, a hint of fear covered by his cockyness.

The five teenagers then raise their arms, revealing their Star-Graphers.

"Ready?!" Kazu asks of his comrades.

"Ready!" all four shout back.

They then press the buttons at the front of their morphers, each Grapher lighting up immediately. They then proceed to turn their map dials, locating their respected constellations.

"GLADIATOR STAR, ALIGN!" The five shout before pressing the button again.

*Cue instrumental of opening*

In a purplish blue space surrounding, each of the teenagers fly up, their respectful constellations coming alive, and flowing over them. This form that of their suits which now cover their body. A chariot, each sporting five stars then charges through each of their heads, forming their helmets.

After they finish changing, they run towards their foe, it raising it's arms ready to attack.

They run into him, delivering multiple kicks and punches. Kazu and Sora providing most of the offense, the others while fighting, just trying to get in shots with their Spartan blasters. KamakiriPian laughs some, he then grabbing, and throwing Sora into that of a pile of metal building work.

"StarYellow!" Ayu shotus, she immediately rushing over to her fallen sister.

"I'm fine."

Ryuji and Hiko then run over to the two sisters as Kazu gets blasted, he flying into Hiko as he gets near the females. Both Hiko and Kazu stand up, all five looking at KamakiriPian as they breathe heavily.

"He's a tough little bastard." Kazu says, he clutching at his still injured chest.

"Just remember, like any common bug, he can be defeated." Hiko explains.

"Yeah, but he's like a cockroach who doesn't know when to go away."

"Let's try the Spartan blasters again" Sora suggest as she stands up.

"It's worth a shot."

The five Rangers then go to their holsters, pulling out their blasters. As they point them towards the Xespian general, they pump them three times, going for maximum power.

"3! 2! 1! FIRE!"

They pull their respective triggers, sending a swirling wave of energy towards KamakiriPian. However as it gets close to him, KamakiriPian grins, he crossing his arms, he catching the ball of energy.

"How the!?" Hiko exclaims, staring in disbelief.

"Heads up kiddies."

KamakiriPian then hurls the energy ball at the StarRangers, it moving with a great amount of speed. The five try to avoid it, but it still slams into the ground, causing an explosion equivalent to that of a bomb to go off. The blast wave of the explosions slams into the group, sending them up into the air before they slam down against the ground, clutching at their bodies.

"HAHAHAHA! If that is all the Earth's defenders can bring to a fight, then this planet is going to die off easily!" KamakiriPian shouts at the downed heroes.

"We c can't give up..." Ayu states, she bringing herself up to her knees slowly, she cringing in pain.

"What else can we do? Our blasters don't work on him."

"StarRangers, come in." Dr. Nakamusa says over a microphone from the observatory. Kazu, hearing his uncle's voice finds the strength and will to stand up.

"W what is it Uncle Joe?"

"What you five did was foolish. Rushing into a battle with a strong opponent while injured and not fully recovered like you're a Kamikaze."

The StarRangers look down or to the side.

"But...it's that strength to get back up no matter the circumstances that made me pick you five." Dr. Nakamusa says, the over scientists awwing a little.

"Arigato Uncle. While we have you on the line, have any tips to beat this bug?" Kazu asks, Ryuji now joining him in being up on his feet.

"Yeah, because if we don't do something quick, we're going to need five black boxes."

"Before we brought you five in, we finished creating the Constellar Weapons for the StarRangers. They should provide you the power to win. To use them, use your map dial, and locate the constellations in the form of a weapon." Dr. Nakamusa explains.

Kazu and Ryuji look at their friends as they finally get back up to their feet. The five nod before going to their Star-Graphers. They activate them, and go straight for the dial, twisting it rapidly. After a minute or two, they locate their weapons, and then press the front button, their armament now appearing in their hands.

"Phoenix Katana!" Kazu shouts, holding a red katana, it's hilt and blade in the form of a Phoenix.

"Grus Buster!" Ayu shouts, she wielding a blaster the size of a compact military issue grenade launcher.

"Carina Axes!" Hiko cries out. He spinning to black axes within his hands.

"Musca Stinger!" Sora yells, she gripping onto an arm blade (think of what Ninja's used), it's lower portion in the shape a bee.

"Cruxx Shooter!" Ryuji shouts, he holding a double barreled blaster that resembles a Combat Shotgun.

"If you think some new toys will stop me, you've got another thing coming!" KamakiriPian screams to the Rangers, he then beginning to run towards them.

"We'll see about that!" Kazu proclaims before h sprints towards KamakiriPian, Sora and Hiko following his lead. Ayu and Ryuji running off to the sides.

The Xespian general and Kazu cross blades with each other, Kazu staring at the monster through his visor. The two then begin to exchange shots at each other's blades. KamakiriPian goes for an X slice, but Kazu blocks it. He then throws KamakiriPian arms up, he then landing a slice across his chest.

KamakiriPian cries out stumbling back. However he does not find a possible escape route, Hiko slamming the edge of his axes into the monster's back. Hiko pulls them out, and then rapidly slams his axe edges and handles into KamakiriPian's body.

Kazu then drops down to all fours, Sora running onto his back and jumping off of it. She lands in front of KamakiriPian, stabbing him in a quick manner multiple times with her stinger. She then thrusts her blade into the middle of the general's chest, ripping it out after bringing it up to his right shoulder.

KamakiriPian cries out in agony, he limping away to the best of his abilities. However, Ryuji and Ayu stand on opposite fire escape balconies, they aiming their blasters down at KamakiriPian. They then release fire upon the insectoid, hitting him until he falls down to the ground, rolling in pain.

"You damn punks!"

The StarRangers then meet up with each other, standing a few feet away from KamakiriPian.

"Guys, combine your weapons. I'm sending you all the blueprint to do so." Dr. Shinrai says.

Against their visors, each teenager looks at a blueprint that will let them combine the five Constellar Weapons into one ultimate weapon.

"Let's do it!"

Ayu and Ryuji place their blasters against each other, the barrels aimed right at KamakiriPian. Hiko sets his axes near the butt of the blasters as Kazu places the sword within the middle of all four weapons. Sora putting her stinger under the barrels.

"StarRangers, say hello to the Consteallar Spartan Cannon." Dr. Nakamusa says, a smile etched on his face.

"Enough chit chat, let's blow this bug away already!" Sora states to her comrades.

"Couldn't put it any better sis"

As KamakiriPian gets to his feet, he stares at the StarRangers. In an altenate plane of reality, all six of them stand in a star light black space.

"Ready!"

"Aim!"

"Fire!'

Ayu and Ryuji pull their triggers, they, along with the other three teenagers throwing their arms up. A rainbow colored ball, each color representing the rangers blasts out of the barrels, flying towards KamakiriPian.

"RAPID STAR BURST!"

"CURSE YOU STARRANGERS!"

The ball slams into KamakiriPian, causing his body to suck itself in before exploding right as the six return to the regular plain of existence. The StarRangers turning around, turning their backs onto their now defeated foe.

Later, at the Observatory, Dr. Mutoh pops open a bottle of champagne, pouring it into the glasses of Doctors Nakamusa and Shinrai, as well as the other scientists. Ayu, Ryuji, Kazu, Sora, and Hiko holding bottles of soda.

"To your guys' first victory as StarRangers!" Dr. Mutoh shouts, everybody in the main viewing room cheering thunderously.

"It took us a while, but we beat that cockroach!" Kazu yells, he going for a toast, put pulls his arm back, he still feeling some pain in it, he squinting hiis right eye.

"Hopefully, that isn't our last victory." Hiko states, he rubbing his still bandaged head.

"It won't be as long as you work like a team, and keep bouncing back." Dr. Nakamusa says, tearing up some.

Everybody then pumps their drinks into the airs, the teens screaming in pain shortly afterword, Dr. Mutoh and Dr. Shinra laughing some.

A little patchy here and there, but pretty good overall. Really liked that moment with Ayu and Ryuji, very nicely done.

"Those kids have great potential. But it appears that some are looking to snatch it away." Dr. Nakamusa says, sitting in front of a computer.

On the next episode: The head of the military department and Co Vice President of Q-Tech, the company which aids and finances the observatory drops by, demanding that the StarRangers give up their powers. But a Xespian general shows up, and goes on a rampage. It'll take the the CVP, and a giant warrior to defeat this general.

And for the length of time that the stars have been around, so have fearsome warriors. From the mighty cavemen, to Spartans, gladiators, to today's modern day soldiers. Warriors have been around to cause evil, and to protect what they care for.

Episode 3: Major Doubts Mechanical Reinforcements!

Hiko Kasai, Ayu and Sora Yukishiro, and Kazu Sanouske walk down the sidewalk as they leave the school grounds, each one holding onto their bags, with the exception of Kazu and Sora, who have theirs slung over their shoulders.

"Nyahh, I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting barely any sleep." Ayu complains to her friends, her eyes painted with dark circles, they eyelids closing and opening. "I'm starting to fall asleep in class!"

"You're not the only one Ayu, I've been having problems functioning and staying awake as well." Hiko assures her.

"Who knew being StarRangers would be so tough?" Kazu retorts, he holding a hand up to his mouth, batting it as he begins to yawn.

"Not to mention the fact we're getting called out everyday to train. I'm convinced my arm is going to fall off." Sora throws out.

"That may not be a bad thing, then you wouldn't get into so many fights." Ayu chimes, she smiling and laughing as she speaks, Sora replying with a small smirk.

The four continue to walk until their Star-Graphers start buzzing. They quickly slap their hands against them, looking around, making sure nobody heard the noise. the group then hurries into an alleyway before releasing the hold on their devices.

"What is it Nakamusa-san?" Hiko asks, he speaking into the map portion of the grapher.

"Hiko, Kazu, Sora, Ayu, I need you four to come to the observatory immediately." Dr. Nakamusa replies.

"How come?" Sora shoots back.

A sigh can be heard over the mic which Dr. Nakamusa is talking into.

"Just come here please. There's somebody here that needs to speak with you."

"B b but..." Kazu starts, hinting that he had other plans.

"Nephewww!" Dr. Nakamusa's voice booms out through the Star-Graphers, Kazu fanning at it some.

"O okay Uncle Joe."

The four look at each other, Ayu giving a shrug, Sora a sigh. They then jog/run out of the alley, beginning the path to the observatory.

Minutes later, they arrive at the front door of the observatory, they out of breath some. Ryuji leaning against a pillar some, he opening his eyes as he hears his comrades.

"Oh, hey there." He says, nodding his head some as he moves away from the pillar, he sliding his hands into the pockets of his shorts.

"Ah, konochiwa Ryuji." Ayu replies, she stretching her back out from the groups run.

"When did you get here Ryuji?" Hiko asks.

"I've been here for an hour or two. So I'd say since Dr. Nakamusa called you."

"What? How'd you get here that fast?!" Kazu questions, somewhat angrily.

"Because I took the train Kazu." Ryuji replies, somewhat coldly, he smirking a little as he turns around, walking to the doors.

The four then look at each other at the mention of the bus. They then release a loud scream and sigh at their not taking the easier transportation. They then run after Ryuji as he walks into the building.

Eventually, the five teenagers walk into the main screening room. In front of them, Dr. Nakamusa, Dr. Mutoh, and Dr. Shinra stand in front of a chair, somewhat smiling, and somewhat frowning. The group stop a few feet away, puzzled by the facial expressions of their mentors. They then move away slowly, revealing a man, dressed in a military commander's uniform sitting in the chair. Two guards, dressed in suits and ties standing next to him.

"StarRangers...this is Saitou Nagasawa, head of Q-tech, AKA our job's military division. As well as the Co Vice President of the company itself..." Dr. Shinrai explains to the kids.

Saitou gets up from his chair, flicking his cigarette away as he stands in front of the group.

"Let's not waste anytime. I want you five to return those StarGraphers right now." He commands, his two guards now standing at his side, holding their hands out.

"W why!" Kazu demands, Ayu clutching at her's, Sora hunched, ready to strike if needed. Hiko and Ryuji standing calm and quiet.

"I saw the footage of your fight, and even of your training sessions. And it is my decision that your five are not fit to be StarRangers."

Kazu gasps some, he, as well as the others moving backwards some in pure shock. The three doctors bowing their heads.

"B but Dr. Nakamusa choose us!" Ayu explains, tears welling up at her eyes as Sora puts an arm around her in a comforting manner.

"Well Dr. Nakamusa made the wrong choice. You five are only teenagers, and had problems just dealing with foot soldiers, let alone that Xespian general. The StarRangers should be soldiers who have been trained to fight against great forces and armies, not highschoolers." Saitou explains, almost yelling at them.

All five of them stand there, shuddering in shock, Kazu clenching his fists tightly, Sora giving the CVP a cold look.

"Now I will say this only once more. Hand over the Star-Graphers!"

He snaps his fingers', the two guards walking to face the Rangers, holding their hands out again, motioning for them to place their morphers in them. They each look at each other, except for Kazu, who has his eyes locked on the CVP.

Ryuji walks forwards then, he unstrapping his Star-Grapher. He looks at it once last time, a look of sadness etched on his face. He then places the morpher into the hands of one of the guards, he then walking back to his once comrades.

Sora then takes her's off somewhat violently, throwing it into the face of a guard, it then falling into his hands. He puts a hand up to his face, rubbing the sport where the Grapher hit him, he scowling at the girl.

Slowly then, both Hiko and Ayu walk up to the three men. They look at each other before slowly, and hesitantly unstrapping their Star-Graphers, they giving them over to this man who looks down on them. They scurry back to their friends then.

Kazu then walks up to the CVP, staring him right in the eyes. The two guards moving into a defensive/offensive position in case the boy tries anything. Kazu then backs up, shaking his head and closing his eyes.

"Please give it to him my nephew." Dr. Nakamusa pleads to his sister's son.

Kazu looks over to to his uncle. He then looks back at the two guards, his friends, and finally at Saitou. He then reaches down to the item that has given him the ability to save lives, it setting on his left wrist.

He begins to unstrap it, but suddenly dashes and spins around. He then launches off with his left foot, he charging past the guards and his friends. He runs out of the main viewing room, commotion and screaming being heard out in the halls. The two guards rush after him, handing Dr. Mutoh the Star-Graphers. Dr. Nakamusa, Hiko, Sora, Ryuji, and Ayu then rush over to a window, they watching out of it as Kazu runs out of the building, he heading into town.

The two guards run down the street, pushing people out of their way, their sights locked dead on Kazu, he weaving his way through the crowded sidewalk. He then skids to a stop, turning to to the right, dashing down an alleyway. The guards soon follow suit, making there way through the alleyway.

Kazu soon reaches a wall, his ears picking up on the two guards chuckling at the fact that they have him cornered. However, Kazu grins, he then jumping up against a wall to his left, he leaping to the wall on the right. He continues this practice until he grabs hold of a pipe, he then climbing up that to the roof of one of the buildings.

As the guards stop, watching him climb up onto the roof, he looks down at them, and gives them a smirk. He proceeds to start running off again, however he now higher then his pursuers. A guard throws his arm in the air in disappointment, the other muttering under his breath.

Back at the observatory, Nagasawa screams out, causing the four students, the three doctors, and everybody else in the room look over at him.

"WHAT! HE GOT AWAY!" Nagasawa screams into his phone, Sora covering her ears as he does so.

"I guess Kazu was able to out run those two guards." Ryuji mutters off, he keeping his head down as he speaks to his now once comrades.

"I've heard Kazu is pretty fats and agile. Hiko, don't you take gym class with him?" Ayu states before questioning her friend, who is sitting beside her.

"Yes. Kazu isn't that smart, and makes up for it with is strength. But he's also very quick. When we did the physical tests at the start of the year, he had the quickest time for the rope climb. And he usually finishers first when we do relays." Hiko explains.

The four nod, Nagasawa continuing to yell and shout into his phone, Dr. Shinai approaching him carefully.

"FIND HIM, AND BRING HIM BACK HERE IMMEDIATELY!" He then hangs up on his guards, he turning around to face the female doctor, his eyes filled with rage. "What is it?!"

"Nagasawa-san, don't you think you're being a little harsh?"

"No. That kid just disobeyed a government order. If, no when we find him, I'm throwing his punk ass in jail!" Saitou informs Dr. Shinai.

"But did you have to take their Star-Graphers away? They might not be the best choice to fight and defend the Earth, but they give it their all, an..." Dr. Shinai tries to explain, but is cut off.

"I don't care what they do. They are not qualified. And since I'm heard of the military division, I'm in charge of who gets to use our weapons and armaments." the CVP explains, he then storming off, leaving Dr. Shinai standing there, her head slowly bowing down.

"We have to find Kazu before those guards do." Sora suggest, she looking at everybody around her.

"You three know him more then I do. I'll stay here." Ryuji offers.

"Sounds like a plan." Hiko replies.

The four nod, even smiling some at each other before they stand up. They then start to walk over to the door, but Nagasawa cuts them off, closing the door behind him.

"You four aren't going anywhere."

"Why!?" Ayu asks, she stomping her foot, giving him a sideways and angered look.

"Why little girl? Because I don't need you four possibly aiding him in getting away. In fact, nobody is leaving this room till that punk is found and taken into custody." Nagasawa explains boomingly to everybody. A collective sigh is heard throughout the workers, some starting to call home, to inform their families they'll be home late.

Nagasawa smirks as the four teenagers trudge back to where they were sitting. He places his hands on his hips, continuing to smirk as he looks around the room. However, his eyes bug out suddenly, he gasping some.

"Where is Dr. Nakamusa!?"

Everybody then turns around, looking to where the head doctor and scientist was sitting. As they look, they see that he is not in the chair. They then quickly look around the room, confirming that the good doctor has left. As he realizes this, Dr. Nakamusa shouts into the air again, bringing his fist hard against a plastic cup, causing coffee to spurt out.

Meanwhile, at the top of a hill, over looking the city, Kazu leans against the guard rail, he breathing heavily from his constant running, jumping, and leaping. He stairs out, eyeing Tokyo. He smiles softly, his eyes then going down to his Star-Grapher. He then looks back out to the city, images of his escape and refusal to hand it over playing through his mind.

A hand on his shoulder soon disrupts his thoughts. He looks over his shoulder, Dr. Nakamusa walking to stand next to his nephew.

"Uncle..." Kazu starts.

"Kazu, what you did earlier has you in a lot of hot water."

"I know Uncle." Kazu replies, looking down over the railing some, his hands folded against it.

"I know I chose you to be part of StarRangers. And for that, I can understand why it may have some importance with you. But was it worth having government officials hunting you, and chasing you all over Tokyo?" Dr. Nakamusa asks the young man, looking at him some.

"Y yes it is."

"Why?"

"Because, it gives me a purpose." Kazu responds almost solemnly and abruptly.

The confused uncle looks at his family member.

"You know that I tend to get in trouble. And throw things not concerning my own goals off. Well, being a StarRanger gave me something. I didn't think I had any purpose before, but now..now I have something to fight for instead of money or over a comment. I'm fighting for my city, my country, the planet. And for you." The nephew explains, he then looking over at his uncle, smiling some.

"Kazu.."

Dr. Nakamusa then returns the smile, rubbing Kazu's back in return.

As that gentle gesture ends though, an explosion occurs, it being visible. The two stand in shock, watching as another explosion, in the same place as the first happens. Kazu clutches the guard rail, leaping over it onto the ground, rushing off into the city.

"K KAZU!" Nakamusa yells out.

In downtown Tokyo, a dung beetle like humanoid stands in the middle of an intersection. In his hands are two cannons, he sending blast after blast into surrounding buildings, objects, and at people.

"THAT'S RIGHT! RUN! HIDE! STAND IN FEAR AT ME, KABUTOIAN!" The Xespian general screams, his voice that of a high pitch.

He continues to shoot at everything in his sight, he not stopping until Kazu slams into the side of his body, sending the two rolling down the road some.

Kazu gets to his feet, just as Kabutoian does. Kabutoian fires two blasts from his cannons, they gunning for Kazu. Kazu however, rolls off to the side quickly, the two blasts colliding with the ground, sending gravel, tar, and rock into the air.

Kazu then stands up, staring fiercely towards the invader.

"Xespian!"

"And who are you little punk?" Kabutioan commands.

Kazu smirks, laughing some.

"Let me show you!" He replies.

"Then do so!"

Kazu then raises his arm, pointing it at the Xespian. He presses the button on the front of the Star-Grapher, he following it up with a quick turn of the dial, it setting on the Phoenix constellation.

"GLADIATOR STAR, ALLIGN!"

He then presses down on the button again, beginning his changing sequence.

In a purplish blue space surrounding Kazu as he floats up, the Phoenix comes alive, it shrieking out as it's firey body flies through the air. It then charges right at Kazu, engulfing him in red fire and gold light, it's body becoming that of his suit. A chariot then runs through his head, forming his helmet, the visor snapping down shut as Kazu opens his eyes.

"S sir?" A scientist stutters out towards Nagasawa.

"What is it?"

"You may want to come look at the screen."

Nagasawa walks over to the scientist, looking up at the viewing screen. His eyes widen slowly, seeing Kazu, transformed into StarRanger mode fighting one of the Xespian generals they've been told about.

"That kid is going to fight even though he doesn't stand a chance?" Hmph." Nagasawa remarks, almost smugly.

Hiko and company soon look up at the screen as well, watching their friend in silence.

Kazu continues to strike out towards Kabutioan, the general able to keep up with his blows, blocking them with relative ease. The insectoid then delivers an uppercut to Kazu's jaw with one of his hand cannons, sending the young soldier down to his feet. As Kazu slams against the ground, Kabutioan goes to stomp on his chest. The StarRanger though rolls to the side before kipping up to his feet. He following it up with a kick to the Xespian's chest. In rapid succession, he then punches it's stomach. Kazu smirking beneath his helmet.

Back in the main room, the group continues to watch the fight, it going back and forth between the two regularly, Nagasawa staring at it in stone cold silence. Dr. Nakamusa then bursts through the door.

"Dr. Nakamusa." Dr. Mutoh says, hurrying over to him, the other kids in follow.

"Dr. Nakamusa, why is that delinquent fully transformed and fighting what my army should be?" Saitou asks in the demanding nature the doctor has become used to hearing on this day.

"Because unlike your army, he's fighting to protect this city."

"Oh please."

"It's true! All your forces ever do is take the city with the enemy! You only care about the end result, not the affect it might have!" Hiko speaks up.

The general and CVP then swirls around, staring down at the teenagers and their leader.

"Oh please, we do what is necessary to win. What did you five do that was different?"

"We fought while making sure everybody else was safe and was out of harm's way." Hiko shoots back.

"You see, we may not know what we're doing that much." Sora retorts.

"And we may not be the best candidates for protecting it." Ayu adds in.

"But we at least give it everything we have. And even if we fail, as long as the people are safe, that's all that matters." Ryuji finishes off.

Dr. Nakamusa then smiles at what his four pupils have said, Saitou's response being that of a huff.

In the background though, Kazu can be heard screaming, everybody turning to see what's happening. Kabutioan has been blasting Kazu repeatedly, throwing him around as well.

"Kazu!" Dr. Nakamusa yells out.

In downtown, Kazu gets tossed into a collapsing building's wall, which causes more of it's brick and foundation to fall upon him. He slowly crawls out and gets to his feet. However the Xespian general was waiting, and aims both of his cannons at him. He pulls down on the triggers, sending out two spherical blasts, that slam into Kazu, sending him flying down the street.

"Haha! Is that all that the Earth's defender's have to offer!?" Kabutioan mocks, smirking and laughing as he aims up another shot at Kazu.

Kazu stands up slowly, huffing and puffing some. He then starts running forward again.

"Phoenix Slasher!" He shouts out, his sword appearing in his hands in a burst of fire as the cannon shots are fired off. Kazu swipes them away as he makes pace towards the enemy.

Nagasawa stands there watching the action, his two guards standing behind him. Ayu looks at her comrades concerned, they watching somewhat in fear as Kazu, while able to get some shots in, continues to get blown back.

Dr. Nakamusa then clenches his fists and walks over to Nagasawa.

"Saitou, that boy may not be who you want fighting, but he's who I picked, and who I trust to defend this city and planet." Dr. Nakamusa explains in a serious tone, he keeping his eyes on the CVP's back as he will not turn around.

"These four were also people I picked, and are comrades in the fight against this threat to Earth. They aren't the best, but they have the potential."

Nagasawa then looks over his shoulder some.

"Please, let them fight!" Dr. Nakamusa asks and pleads one last time.

Saitou then looks at the four Star-Graphers he has in his hands. He then looks up at the screen, the young Star Red getting up from another blast, his suit now beginning to rip.

He sighs some and then tosses the Star-Grapher's behind him. Ayu, Ryuji, Sora, and Hiko catch them in shock, looking at the general confused.

"You have one chance to impress me. Use it to your advantage." He proclaims. He then returns his attention to the screen.

The four then look at each other, and then to Dr. Nakamusa. As he nods, they rush out of the room, heading towards their comrade.

Back in downtown Tokyo, Kazu once against gets hit head on with another shots of the cannons. He rolls down the road some, Kabutioan slowly and manically walking after him.

"You don't stand a chance you little pesk. How you beat one of us previously is a mystery to me."

Kabutioan then stands in front of the downed Kazu. Kazu looks up, the Xespian pointing both cannons straight in his face.

"Prepare to go to hell!" Kabutioan exclaims.

Kazu squeezes his eyes shut as Kabutioan laughs. However, instead of being shooting off again, the insectoid is pushed back by a pair of kicks. The noise of his attacker rolling away causes Kazu to open his eyes. In front of him stands his friends.

"Guys!" Kazu shouts, he slowly getting up to his feet.

"Yo." Sora remarks, smacking Kazu's shoulder some as the four move to stand by his side.

"What are you guys doing, that old grump took away your Star-Graphers."

The four smirk as they hold up their left wrists, each one covered by their individual Star-Graphers. Kazu then stumbles back a bit.

"AYAHH! You got them back!?" Kazu asks loudly.

"Yeah. He thought he'd give us a chance to show off what we can do." Hiko replies.

"And we intend to do just that." Ayu chimes in, smiling some.

The five smile at each other, their attention quickly jetting forward as Kabutioan gets up.

"How sweet. Too bad I'm about to send you all to hell." He shouts at them.

"Oh really now?" Ryuji questions.

"There's five of us, and one of you baka." Sora adds in, a grin painted on her lips.

"And with the five of us together, we can defeat anything and anyone!" Kazu finishes off.

"You guys ready?" Hiko asks.

"I thought you'd never ask." Ryuji replies.

The four then press the front button on their morphers. Their hands almost immediately go right for the dial for the map, flicking it around until their constellation and color pops up. They then raise their arms upwords.

"GLADIATOR STAR, ALLIGN!" The four shout, slamming their hands once again on the front button.

A flash of light goes off, blinding Kabutioan for a minute. When he's able to see again, he staggers back, the five StarRangers standing fully transformed in front of him.

"Rising from ashes as the mighty Phoenix to fight evil...Star Red!" Kazu says, spinning his body and arms around, stopping as he faces his opponent, a hand pointed at the Xespian, the other held back in a punching position.

"Elegent yet fierce as the Grus....Star Green!" Ayu shouts, spinning around as well, stopping as she faces Kabutioan. She holding an arm up in the air, the other hand placed against her hip.

"Floating along the stars like Carina against the sea...Star Black!" Hiko sounds off, spinning his arms and splitting his legs apart some, his arms pointed forward at the insectoid.

"Stinging fiercely at injustice like the mighty Musca...Star Yellow!" Sora yells, spinning her body back and forth by the sides, twirling some to stand sideways. Her arms laying lazy and limp like against her body as she stares down the enemy.

"Standing as a symbol of good like Cruxx...Star Purple!" Ryuji ends, throwing his arms out to the side like a powerful strong man.

"Shining like the stars in the night sky!" Ayu, Ryuji, and Hiko proclaim.

"Fighting like the mightiest of gladiators!" Kazu and Sora finish.

"The stars align, the warriors clash! Ken tōshi Sentai StarRanger!" The five shout at once.

In the observatory, the workers cheer at seeing their heroes proclaiming themselves to the enemy. Dr. Nakamusa tearing up some, while Nagasawa and his guards stand there in silence.

"If you think your little troop call is going to scare me off, you've got another thing coming! Try this on for size!" Kabutioan proclaims.

The Xespian general then points one of his blasters directly at his chest. He slams down the trigger, sending a blast of energy against his skin, causing the rangers to be taken a back. However, instead of going through him, it burns off a chunk of skin, Kabutioan's body now beginning to glow. The insectoid then shoots up in height and width, standing tall over the city.

"W what the fudge!?" Sora shouts in shock and awe at what just happened.

"H he just grew!" Kazu answers.

"How are we suppose to beat him now?" Ayu questions.

"StarRangers!" Dr. Nakamusa's voice booms in their helmets.

"Dr. Nakamusa?" Hiko says.

StarRangers, I'm going to send out your Gladiator Crafts. Use them to unite so that you can fight Kabutioan."

"Gladiator Crafts?" Ryuji questions.

"Yes. They are your mecha, and when united, will form Ion Warrior, your megazord." Dr. Nakamusa explains.

"Well send them out already Uncle." Kazu shouts some.

"Call out 'Gladiator Craft, charge!'"

Kazu then throws his arm up in the air, bringing it down some.

"Gladiator Craft, charge!"

At the main viewing room, Nakamusa types in a command into a computer, ending the sequence by pressing enter.

In a giant garage like structure out in space, five doors open slowly, slowly revealing the neutral sitting Gladiator Crafts. They then begin to rumble and hum, before they blast out of the holding bay towards Earth. They soon blast through the atmosphere, now flying through the air above the StarRangers. They look at each other, nodding some before they leap up, transporting into their crafts.

Kazu leaps into an EVA suit like craft (Phoenix Warrior). Ayu appearing in her own craft, it being that of a Soviet era Space station (Grus Station). Hiko going into his craft, it being a space shuttle (Carina Shuttle). Ryuji and Sora then appear in their respective crafts, Sora in a Moon rover (Musaca Runner), Ryuji in a Landmaster like vehicle (Hover Cruxx).

They then fly towards the Xespian, Sora and Ryuji shootings blasts of energy out of their respective vehicles towards the creature. Kazu then flies up in his EVA suit craft, slamming it's right fist into Kabutioan, sending him flying to the ground.

"This is freaking awesome!" Kazu shouts out.

"Glad you enjoy it. Now, unite and form Ion Warrior." Dr. Nakamusa instructs.

"And how do we do that exactly?" Ryuji asks.

"Call out 'Ion Gattai!'"

"If you say so. Ion Gattai!" Kazu shouts.

The five space craft then fly back up into space, Kabutioan watching in anger and intrigue. As they fly past the moon, A piece of Ayu's mecha shoots out from the back, flying around. Kazu then stops, hovering now in front of the moon in Phoenix Warrior.

Phoenix Warrior's legs then fold upwards into the back of the EVA suit. Musca Runner and Hover Cruxx then fly towards Star Red's Gladiator Craft, they turning to face the Earth as they move into an upright position. The fronts of each vehicle then fold out, the top end of them folding inwards. Phoenix Warrior then falls down upon the two, it's joints sliding into the now open slots of Hover Cruxx and Musca Runner.

Carina Shuttle and Grus Station then fly up to the newly legged EVA suit. Carina Station flies nose first upwards as Phoenix Warrior's Arms move inwards some, creating a joint for connection. The nose of Carina Shuttle then flips to the side, revealing the slot for the connection. It then slides in, creating the right arm for the ever growing mecha, a fist shooting out of the thrust/rocket part of the craft. Grus Station then repeats the same motion, connecting itself to Phoenix Warrior.

The piece of Ayu's mecha that shot up now comes roaring back, it sliding down over the head of Phoenix Warrior. As it does so, part of it shoots up to form a brim of the head, this also revealing the face of Ion Warrior. The five StarRangers now appearing in a control room, they able to look out of a screen in the eyes of this new giant mecha.

They then fly back down through the atmosphere and onto Earth, now standing in front Kabutioan.

"W what is that thing!?" the Xespian asks frantically.

"ION WARRIOR, READY FOR BATTLE!" The five shout out from their new mecha, it moving into a battle ready stance.

The two giants then circle around each other, Kabutioan making the first move as he charges towards Ion Warrior. The giant Xespian eventually crashes into the giant robot. The rangers respond by grabbing onto one of Kabutioan's shoulders, they delivering a punch to the creature's head with the free hand, the punch sending Kabutioan back a bit.

Back at the observatory, everyone's eyes on locked on the screen, watching the fight rage on, they even listening to the StarRanger's conversation as they do so. Dr. Nakamusa, with his headset still on walks over to Nagasawa.

"See Saitou, this is what those teenagers can do. They may cause a bit of a ruckus throughout the city, but they are able to protect it without needing any army behind them."

Nagasawa makes a hum and sigh like noise, he keeping his attention set on the action.

Ion Warrior goes for a punch, but the Xespian general rolls out of the way.

"Try this on for size kiddies!" He shouts.

Kabutioan then aims both of his weapons directly at the giant in front of him. He then fires off two huge blasts of energy, they slamming right into the middle of Ion Warrior, sending it down to the ground. In the cockpit, the rangers cry out, banging around in the control room.

"Dammit that hurt." Kazu mutters.

"Our attacks don't seem to do much next to those cannons of his." Ryuji says.

"Then how do we beat him?" Ayu asks as the group takes another round of blasts from Kabutioan's weapons, he laughing while doing so.

"StarRangers!" Dr. Nakamusa shouts into his headset.

"What is it sir?" Hiko asks.

"It's time to defeat this creature. Use Ion Warrior's weapons, the Ion Blades."

"If you say so." Kazu replies.

The five then bring Ion Warrior back up to it's feet, it's eyes deadlocked on Kabutioan.

"Ion Blades, draw!" Kazu shouts out.

After doing so, Ion Warrior's hands open up, two swords appearing in each hand. The blades jet black, green circles and and lines painting the middle of each side of the blades.

"If you think those little knives are going to stop me, you've got another thing coming!" The insectoid shouts.

Kabutioan then fires off two blasts again, but this time, Ion Warrior deflects them up into the sky with it's blades. The StarRangers then charge forwards, slashing at Kabutioan's body, sparks flying off of his arms as the swords come down upon them. They then slam the tips of each blade against his chest, cracking the armor and sending him back a couple of feet.

"I'm getting tired of this clown, can we end him already?" Sora asks.

"Heh, you've got it Sora." Kazu replies.

The five then thrust the control sticks upwards, activating the thrusters in the feet of their giant mecha. They then fly upwards into the sky, it turning black and blue, stars appearing and shining down upon their opponent who looks up at them.

"W w what!?!"

Ion Warrior then crosses it's Ion Blades into the shape of an X. The group then steer the robot to where it shoots back down like a rocket, it aimed straight at Kabutioan. Right before they collide with the beast, Kazu shouts out the attack.

"Ion X Cut!"

Ion Warrior then uncrosses it's swords, they ripping straight into the Xespian's body. It's feet then touch the ground and slide away, they tearing the swords out of Kabutioan's body. The body then slowly slides apart before exploding.

"MY LIEGE!!!" Kabutioan screams out right as he explodes into thin air, leaving Ion Warrior and the StarRangers standing, facing the city. A roar of applause coming both from them, and everyone back in the viewing room.

"WE DID IT!" Ayu shouts in unison with her comrades.

Later, back at their base, the group cheers as they are welcomed back with warm happy embraces. They walk around, celebrating with their associates. However, the party like vibe turns to stoned silence, the General and his guards walking straight up to the group, Kazu in particular. Dr. Nakamusa and Mutoh standing by.

"Young man, you disobeyed a direct order given to you by the the head of the division that funds this place and played a part in creating those Star-Graphers and that mecha. You risked the lives and jobs of everybody here, not to mention everybody out in the damn city!" He reports in an angry shouting voice to Kazu, who stares right back at him coldly with the same intensity.

"But, the words I heard from Dr. Nakamusa, and even as your friends stated, you fought to protect the city, and you risked your lives, and everything to do so. And if you're willing to go against direct orders from a portion of the Japanese government, then I suppose the good doctor made the right choice."

The CVP and his guards then begin to make their way out, everybody growing a smile and starts cheering again. Kazu then turns to face Nagasawa's back.

"So, does that mean we're still StarRangers?" He asks.

"Indeed it does. Just don't screw up the opportunity I gave you." Nagasawa replies. Giving a slight smirk before exiting the room.

As the doors close, Kazu turns to face his friends. He, along with everybody else then erupts in cheers, he leaping up with his friends.

Okay, interesting first half. Although I fully agree with Nagasawa I'll admit that I liked Kazu turning into a total BAMF before the break. Looking forward to part two.

... Damn Kazu, a fine red ranger you turned out to be.

"Ahh, we showed old man Nagasawa didn't we? I guess that's what happens when you see Star Red in action!" Kazu says smugly.

"Yeah, unless he has detention." Ryuji replies with a smirk.

On the next episode: As Kazu and gang go to leave for the day, Kazu gets sent to detention with one of his teachers, Miss Kamiya. Ayu, Hiko, and Sora try to break him out as a Xespian runs ramped through Tokyo. Will they, or even Kazu himself get out of his captivity to save the city?

Ms. Kamiya: "Let's see, the city is on fire and I have the only one that can save it in detention... Nope, not gonna let him out." :p

In the courtyard of Takami Highschool, the four StarRangers Kazu, Ayu, Hiko, and Sora sit under a tree, eating their lunches, and enjoying themselves in conversation. They laugh, smile, and enjoy their only real down time from fighting off the Xespians. However, a shadow of two feet appear to the side of Kazu then. When Kazu looks up, his eyes are greeted by that of a woman, dressed in the regular outfit of a teacher for the school. The woman appearing to be in her early thirties.

"Kazuki Sanouske?" The woman asks the teenager as he lays on his back and looks up at her, the other three looking at the two with curiosity.

"Yes?" Kazu replies.

It's a pleasure to finally meet you." The woman says, smiling down at him after she pushes her glasses back up her nose a little.

Kazu smiles in return, his friends rolling their eyes. Sora and Ayu snickering some. But before any of them knows it, the woman grabs Kazu by the wrist, yanking him up to his feet. Kazu screams a little as she does so, Hiko and the others jumping up to their feet.

"Mam, what are you doing?" Hiko asks, confused like the rest of them.

"My name is Ms. Kamiya, head of discipline for our fine school here. And Mr. Sanouske, I'm placing you in detention, for the whole day."

"W WHATT!!" Kazu and his friends shout in shock and surprise.

Ms. Kamiya smirks some.

For millions of years, the universe and all of the galaxies have been illuminated by the stars. These stars have provided a shining light of hope and salvation for many, and have also been inspiration for a Milena of mythology and folklore.

And for the length of time that the stars have been around, so have fearsome warriors. From the mighty cavemen, to Spartans, gladiators, to today's modern day soldiers. Warriors have been around to cause evil, and to protect what they care for.

Episode 4: Break Out Red!

"B b but whyyyy?????!!!" Kazu whines out as he sits at a desk in an empty classroom, Ms. Kamiya sitting at a desk in front of both him, and a chalkboard. Hiko and Ayu looking through the small window on the door, Sora's ear pressed against the door itself.

"Mr. Sanouske, for the past couple of months you have been tardy from a number of your classes, you haven't turned in many of your homework assignments, and I have received reports of you falling asleep constantly in class." Ms. Kamiya explains bluntly.

Kazu goes to argue back, but stops, remembering that he has been falling asleep, as well as skipping out of school to go out to the arcade. On the outside, as the three StarRangers hear this, they respectfully roll their eyes and shake their heads in a disappointing style.

"Ms. Kamiya, please, can't you let me have a little "Get out of detention free" pass? Please?" Kazu begs, holding his hands together like he was going to pray.

"No you can not. This is the real world, not a game. You have to live up to your wrongings and mistakes whether you like it or not."

"B but when can I leave?" Kazu asks in a whining tone.

"You may leave when it is 6:00." The teacher/disciplinary states to her detainee, causing Kazu's forehead to fall against that of his desk.

On the outside of the room, Hiko, Ayu, and Sora pull away from the door. They then begin to walk down the hallway.

"Well, looks like Kazu's stuck here." Ayu says.

"Yep. That's what happens when you mess around like he does." Sora says, her hands sliding into the pockets of her uniform's jacket/shirt.

"Heh, you're one to talk Sora." Ayu remarks, grinning some with a small snicker.

"Hey guys, that woman said Kazu had to stay here until six a clock correct?" Hiko asks, he gaining ground and walking in front of the girls now.

"Yeah." Sora answer back.

Hiko then looks at the two over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow. The girls then stand there silently, looking back and forth at each other. They then gasp in a screaming fashion.

"Bingo." Hiko says.

"We have to train today with the Gladiator Crafts!" Ayu proclaims to her sister, grabbing onto her shoulders'.

"And old man Nakamusa made it mandatory!" Sora explains right back, grabbing onto her sister's shoulders as well.

"Not to mention we never know when the Xespians will strike." Hiko adds in. "And we're no where near able to handle one of those generals without all of us together.

The three then stand there looking down. They then slowly look at each other.

"I guess we should break him out then." Sora says, grinning some. Hiko and Ayu face palming in shock at their comrade's idea.

Meanwhile in space, aboard the flagship of Lord Xorpeon, Sillite walks into his lordship's throne room.

"Lord Xorpeon." He says as he enters, giving a small bow.

"What is it Sillite?" The Xespian commander asks as he looks down at his second in command.

"The newest general is here."

"Ah, send him in."

Sillite nods before motioning for two guards to open up the throne room doors. A Xespian general that resembles that of a cockroach walks in, his entire body brown with a bright reddish orange strip running along his middle.

"State your name soldier." Xorpeon commands.

"My name is KasaiBuri (Fire Cockroach)!" KasaiBuri states as he looks at his commander and his sergeant.

"Sillite" Xorpeon says slowly and softly, looking over to Sillite with on eye.

"Yes sir." Sillite responds, nodding his head before walking towards KasaiBuri.

"KasaiBuri..." SIllite speaks slowly with coldness.

"Yes sir?" He replies.

"You are to go down to Earth and set fire to everything you see. Lord Xorpeon wants everything and everyone on that planet to burn to a crisp to the point to where this whole galaxy is filled with smoke. Do you understand?" Sillite asks as he finishes explaining out the mission to this cockroach soldier.

"I understand sergeant." KasaiBuri replies.

"Good, you are dismissed."

KasaiBuri bows towards Sillite. He then turns around and heads towards the door leading out of the throne room.

"KasaiBuri..." Xorpeon says.

KasaiBuri then stops in his tracks, he turning around to look at his leader.

"Yes my liege?"

"In addition to burning the Earth...I want you to eradicate those known as the StarRangers. They are a threat to us taking control over this galaxy. And I want them squashed. Is that understood?" Xorpeon explains.

"Clearly sir." KasaiBuri responds.

"Good."

KasaiBuri nods again before he leaves the throne room. Sillite returning to stand by his master's side. Xorpeon staring coldly out of a window, he glaring down at Earth.

Back on Earth at the school, Sora pressed her back up against the wall to the right of the door leading to the detention room. On the other side of the door is Hiko. They look over to Ayu, who is standing off to the side some. The three nod at each other.

Ayu then walks over to the door, knocking on it. After a minute, the door opens up and Ms. Kamiya looks at Ayu.

"May I help you?" Ms. Kamiya asks, her left eyebrow raised some.

"Yes I hope so." Ayu starts a little nervously. "I was told to bring a student here for his detention time, but he got away from me, and I can't find him. I was wondering if you'd assist me?"

"Of course." The teacher responds.

The two then walk out of the room, and begin to walk down the hallway. Kazu, who was looking at the interaction between his friend and jailer sees the hands of Hiko and Sora, waving him to come. Kazu grins and quietly gets out of his chair and begins to walk towards the door.

However as he gets closer, the hands of his friends disappear. Kazu then hears them running away. He then walks right into Ms. Kamiya, Ayu standing behind her meekly, she shrugging in an apologetic way. Kazu frowns, he stomping back over to his deck, Ms. Kamiya joining him, she shutting the door in Ayu's face.

As time passes, Hiko, Sora, and Ayu continuely attempt to get Kazu out. However, their attempts are thwarted by Ms. Kamiya, another student, and even their own classes. From trying to get him out off the door, through a window, and through any way they see. Their efforts continually getting stopped.

After their last class of the day, they sit on the floor in the hallway defeated.

"We've tried everything short of blowing him out of there." Sora explains angrily.

"Ms. Kamiya does seem like a tough cookie." Ayu chimes in.

"Not to mention she seems to always know when we're trying something." Hiko finishes.

"I suppose he's stuck there then with that witch" Sora says.

The three teenagers then sigh, falling over to lean against one another. However, their Star-Graphers then begin to buzz. The three jump to their feet and work their way into a broom closet.

"What is it sir?" Hiko asks.

"A Xespian general is attacking in Akihabara. He's setting anything he sees on fire. I need you all to get down there immediately and join Ryuji to beat him." Dr. Nakamusa explains.

"Uhhhhh...." Ayu begins.

"What is it Ayu?"

"Kazu's stuck in detention, and the teacher won't let him out." Ayu explains.

A sigh can be heard from the good doctor.

"You three just get down there and meet up with Ryuji. I'll speak to this teacher." Nakamusa states.

"Roger that old man Nakamusa." Sora says.

The three then nod at each other. Sora then kicks the door open, and the three rush out of the broom closet, they heading towards Akihabara.

Ms. Kamiya? What's her first name, Hikari?
