June Tamashii Web Exclusives - Phoenix, Warz Gil And More!
 

Recently we reported the discovery of an SH Figuarts Phoenix Phantom figure, however any specific details were a complete mystery. Well thanks to the latest issue of FigureOh, we bring you news that he will be among Bandai's Tamashii Web Exclusives for June.

The full list of tokusatsu figures for the month is as follows:
SH Figuarts Phoenix Phantom (Kamen Rider Wizard) - 3675 yen
SH Figuarts Warz Gil (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) - 4410 yen
SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Cyclone (Kamen Rider W/Super Climax Heroes) - 3675 yen
SH Figuarts Sagittarius Zodiart (Kamen Rider Fourze) - 3990 yen
SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Axe Form - 3675 yen
SH MonsterArts Destoroyah Evolution Set - 8400 yen

Warz gil and axe form? Good month for me

8400 yen for the evolution set of Destroyah...i was expecting to pay abit more for three figures, seems reasonably priced though.

I'm really kind of baffled as to why S.H. Figuarts chose to make Warz Gil over someone like Damaras. Don't get me wrong - I'm excited to get him. He should be really cool, but on a practical and display level, Warz saw virtually no fighting whatsoever, and he had little personal interaction with any of the Gokaigers. Even his father would have been a better choice. What are we supposed to do with Warz?

Put him in a cowering pose in a corner. Or a frustrated pose. Lol.
The most logical thing is just a basic standing pose so he can be the spoiled brat that he is.

You could also have him be out of character and make him fight, I'm sure he would look good doing so.

Thank god there's nothing here that I find terribly interesting, because this is a pretty loaded month. I'll probably regret not getting Phoenix or Sagittarius at some point, though.

Shame Ax Form is an exclusive, I thought Den-O would be popular enough to avoid that. Nothing here really interests me enough to buy with how much exclusives cost but I do want to see pictures of Kamen Rider Cyclone.

Well, that makes up my mind. I'll skip the Wizard effect set 1 to get Rairyu and Fuuryu paid off before I can choose some of these to pre-order. Just...argh, so much stuff in one month. The Destroyah Evolution will probably been brought over by Bluefin so not too worried about that.

Axe Form is the major thing on that list that I'm psyched about. But I will buy the shit out of Warz Gill/Waruzu Giru! Everything else is a pass until I find them discounted.

Why doesn't Bandaii just drop the pretense and announce that every figure released from now on is going to be a Web Exclusive?

Den-O's a happy camper, but I'm shocked that we're getting Wals Gilz and it looks like he's not a Figuarts Zero. He must have been more popular that we first thought.

One of these days I'm getting a Figuarts of my own. A lot of them look awesome and besides how can you not like a action figure series that has such cool super heroes?
