S.H.Figuarts Classic Rider 1 and Shocker Combatmen Officially Revealed
 

First seen in yesterday's Figureoh reveals, Tamashi Nation just uploaded official photos of both Classic Rider 1 and the Shocker Combatmen.

Rider 1 is shown to include a Rider Kick effect part, while the Shocker Combatmen will include a combat knife and a staff. Shocker Grunt will retail for 2675 yen while Rider 1 will retail for 2940 yen and will be released in August/July 2013.

Need both of these incredibly bad. I need like 10 of those Shocker Combatmen!

Shocker, that looks awesome. I hope he comes with effect parts to do that missile thing they do in the movies. ... But another Rider 1? Are we out of Rider's already?

Kinda disappointed in the Rider 1 figure. They completely got the eyes wrong - they should be pink, not orange. The Shocker goon looks nice, though.

The Shocker Combatent fairly inexpensive, will definitely consider ordering one when the pre-orders go up.

That's the problem with cheap army builders…you can't stop at one!:lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this just leaves Rider 2 related repaints of this sculpt now, right? Reeeeeeeaaaallllyyyy want Black-helmet Nigo.

I don't know my Rider history very well so please don't burn me at the stake but is this the very first Rider?

Honestly, I see no reason to own that Ichigo when I already have one.

However, what is up with the bird staff? The regular one came with a bird sword. Did he ever use a sword in the show?

Yep, this is Rider 1 as he appeared in the first 13 episodes of the original Kamen Rider.

He never carried one, but Riders 1 and 2 would frequently grab an enemy's weapon to use against them.

man I already have 2 Rider 1s...

I want them to release the first Rider 2, I never got the new version already released, and frankly I'd prefer not to. Hate the idea of spending $35+ on the same figure, just with red gloves and boots.

And the stripes! Don't forget the stripes! :lol

How many versions of Rider 1 are out there?

This will be the third variant. All regular releases too. It just goes to show how popular the Showa guys must be.

You must not collect Transformers, GI Joes, or even DC stuff. I have been buying the same figures for years at times just because they have a paint job to make them a different character.
And yet, we still don't even have at least AkaRanger.

Errr that's quite an assumption. Especially since I've been quite active on Fwoosh, TFw2005 and HISSTank for years. Buying a second(or ninth) Snake Eyes is a little different, because standard release GI Joes don't cost $38 a pop. And most variations aren't just repaints.

Standard releases of those series aren't Japanese Imports either.

And the variations I am thinking of the likes of Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp. Sideswipe and Red Alert.

I wish they would do the foot soldiers from the earlier episodes. I like the red and black camo costumes better.

He doesn't even have a new hat though..
