And it's back!!!! The Rider of The Year Tournament is back on track, and this time, we will be having 2 matches every week! New rules apply however!!!!

1. Each Match Is A Suggestion From A Member Of The Boards.
2. Each Rider Will Be Fighting As The Form People Recognize Them The Most With, And Will Only Fight With Their Full Power During The Tournament Matches.
3. There Will Be A Total Of 32 Matches, With The Tournament Taking Place In December.

Kamen Rider Den-O

VS

Kamen Rider Kiva

Den-O:

• Sword Form is Kamen Rider Den-O's first (and most common) form, used when Ryotaro is possessed by Momotaros. In Sword Form, he uses the DenGasher as a standard sword-style weapon. Sword Form is the most balanced of all his forms, possibly because of Momotaros' prominence among the other Imagin. Momotaros himself once assumed Sword Form during the events of "Final Countdown" to battle Kamen Rider Yuuki. Every so often, Momotaros will develop a new Finishing Attack that he uses to finish off Imagin, and has developed Parts 1, 2, 2' (2-dash), 3, 5, Special Version (used in "I'm Born!"), and the Imagin-assisted Final Version, although parts 2, 3, and 5 are essentially identical. Special Version is nearly identical to 2, 3, and 5, but uses a double Full Charge and only strikes the enemy on the rebound, while Final Version is an extended attack that uses the energy of the other Taros, Sieg, and Zeronos. Sword Form also has a triple roundhouse Rider Kick that Momotaros refers to as his "Super Finishing Attack."

Kiva:

• Kiva Form is Kiva's default form, accessed through a bite from Kivat, who status determines Kiva's ability in a battle. He is able to see in the dark with his visor called the Omnilens. In this form, Kiva can use any of the Fuestles, with the Wake Up Fuestle to open up the Catena Chains on his right leg known as the Hell's Gate made of Lucifer Metal so Kiva can use his Darkness Moon Break attack. The kick has an impact of 30,000 kg., enough to leave a crater in the shape of a bat's wings (Kiva's insignia) on any surface upon contact; the glass body of a Fangire shatters almost instantly.

Den-O Sword will eat Kiva Kiva.

I beg to differ. Den-O is extremely under-powered when compared to Kiva, Tatsulot or no Tatsulot.

Also, please don't use "eat" to describe what Den-O will do to Kiva. Kamen Rider Kiva makes that seem... well, just observe Riki's date.

Heres a dumb question. Does kiva have the zanvat sword like he did in lets go all kamen riders. Doesnt really matter but its good to know.

Kiva's base form really don't hold a candle to Den-O sword. I really can't see anything Kiva is capable of that beats Den-O.

Hmmmmm Kiva with access to his full set of powers would stomp Den-O. But if this is about base forms only then I gotta give it to Sword Form. Momotaros can't take a serious beating and dish it right back out.

Yeah, surprise, I voted against Wataru. I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain my thoughts on bath boy again, so let's skip that. In this case it comes down to power and default Kiva doesn't have anything on Sword Form. Momo is much faster and way more aggressive. His fighting style is also highly unpredictable and hard to counter. On top of that he has much better ranged capabilities with the DenGasher. Kiva has to get up close to use his feet and fists. And even if things get really crazy and they both pull out their strongest assists (which I assume is allowed, as it's not form-dependent) I'd put my money on the Denliner over Castle Doran any day.

I'm gonna give this to Den-O. Having a weapon is just too much of an advantage over having to rely on feet and fists, and base form Kiva never really pulled any feats of power to make me think he can overcome that.

Remember that this battle closes on Sunday! Kiva is in the lead by 2 at the moment!

On base forms alone, Den-O could definitely take Kiva down.

And really, somebody needs to do something about that.

Now time to get everyone mad.I voted Kiva.Why? Cause Sword form really isn't his base form now is it? Plat Form is.Saying Sword Form is his base is like saying Ax Form or Rod Form is his base too.

I think OOO used Sword Form to represent his Base Form because that was the Form Den-O used the most often. Especially when Momotaros Henshin'd into Den-O by himself. Through Decade, and some of the movies.

True,but I still think Kiva could win given the chance.Remember Momo argues with the others alot....and often.One simple argument and there's an opening.

I think Kiva would win this to. But Momo wouldn't go down that easy. One strength Momotaros has is once he's focused in battle, he's absolutely focused in battle. Like a Kamen Rider Beserker.

Kuuga's base form is Mighty, not Growing.
Ryuki's base form is his Contract'd form, not Blank.
Den-O's base form is Sword, not Plat Form.

Their first form isn't their base/default one.

Still,they're not really base forms.At least Den-O's Sword form doesn't feel like one.And it's only cause he has so many.Like I said,it's like considering Ax,Rod,Gun,and Wing form base forms too.Same goes for Kuuga and his other forms.If Mighty is his base,then so are Dragon,Pegasus,and Titan.I understand Ryuki cause he has one "base" form.Base forms to me are what they start in.Hence the word base.It practically means starting from the bottom.

Mighty is a base form. Growing is a weakned form he goes into when he over-exerts himself, Dragon, Pegasus, Titan, and Rising, are all upgrade forms.

Then that proves my point about Den-O.He doesn't "weaken" or "lower" to Plat Form,its what he starts with.

Okay, let me settle this. I said the form that people recognize the most as the rider would be the one used in the battles. Which form appears whenever Den-O is mentioned? Sword Form.

I still don't think so.
Plat form is more of an intermediate form, designed for changing between his 4 others.
Designating Plat form as Den-O's default is like calling Kabuto's Masked form his default.

Den-O still owns Kiva. There is nothing Kiva Kiva can or ever has done that proves he can hold a candle to Den-O Sword.

This was tough for me, I like Kiva slightly more I think, but from what I've seen Den-O Sword Form takes him.
