And now "Megaforce Faithful" is replaced by "Warstar General."
So, now who's gonna defend this show to the very end? |

I'll defend the show like always. Robo Knight is just going to take getting used to :lol

Really good episode, imho. After only two episodes, I'm pretty sure Robo Knight is my favorite character. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in-store for him in future episodes. Was great seeing his Megazord. I was wondering if he would summon all the pieces himself, or if the would require the help of two of the others.

I've been trying four times now to contain my thoughts and write what I thought about this episode. I absolutely hate Robo Knight. They completely ruined an excellent scene from Goseiger and turned it into.. that. But then Gia went all Gia and I calmed down again. Vrak was excellent, as always. I just cannot get past how horrible RoboCop Jr is. Saban did to Gosei Knight what 4Kids.TV did to One Peice.

man i want to watch but the UK music indastrie just blocked kat.ph and that was the normal place i got my episodes.
|
I missed the last half of the episode (stupid power outage) but i liked what i saw, especially the unmorphed fight scenes.

One thing that bothers me with this episode stems from Goseiger.
And that is Gosei Ground. If the naming of mecha was going for increasing "epicness" considering Great, Hyper, Wonder, Exotic, Mystic and Ultimate, why is Gosei/Robo Knight's giant robot form supposed to be Gosei Grand but is written as Gosei Ground on the cards? Very minor, but rather annoying. Still, pretty good episode. And I'm glad GK's "vaporize human influence on the Earth" was changed to RK's "ignorance of humans existing and focusing on just the target objective." I like that, since he's not annoying like Kite when it comes to the preachy environment stuff. |

i love gosei grand megazord

Is this episode online yet? I need to construct my case for Robo Knight.

I think I could like Robo Knight if his voice was different, and he didn't make Robocop noises when he moved. And it's not just his voice. There were a couple examples from today's episode. When he's inside the cage and pounding his arm against his knee in frustration. His body is emotive.. and his voice is deadpan monotone. Doesn't fit. And then there's what he says. I understand he's a robot, and that his name is Robo Knight, but does he really need to say such robotic things? They spent every waking moment of this episode ebating into my head he's a robot. Blue Centaurian is a perfect example. He was a robot, but his voice was more emotive. Tensou's panic attacks are more emotive.
I just don't like how deadpan he is. Or the robot movement noises. Or his dialogue. |

Hehe...I kid minor joke, but I agree on the voice just by showing more emotions in voice can be a while lot different then literally a robot made out of the factory. Take Soundwave from Transformers for example a pure robotic voice but yet he can show hints of emotions back in G1. Or Alpha from MMPR or even Navi from Gokaiger. |
But even Primes robot noises were more subtle unless it was a scene where they were specifically highlighting the robotyness. ie)the first movie

Honestly, I thought that was the best episode of Megaforce so far. And that's not just due to that epic new shot of Vrak changing forms.
The series is doing a great job of integrating the Warstar into the post-Warstar episodes, even if its just stock-footage base shots every so often. Robo Knight continues to be great as far as I'm concerned (guess I'm the only person who digs the robot noises), and this episode had plenty of new footage. Was nothing but win in my book. |

Actually, what I want to see is Robo Knight making a guest appearance on Arrow as Oliver's replacement for when he catches a cold. Just imagine: [Robo Knight bursts through the window of some rich big-shot (his face is obscured). Robo Knight walks over to him, pulls out his Robo Laser (in Sword Mode), pins the rich guy to the ground with his leg, and points the blade at his chin.] Robo Knight: Russell Crowe, you have failed this city! Russell Crowe: What did I do? Robo Knight: Your singing in Les Miserábles pollutes the air of Starling City. Environmental threats must be destroyed. Russell Crowe: Who are you, Captain Planet? Robo Knight: I am Robo Knight, Protector of the Environment, Guardian of Earth. |
I like how Robo Knights everything the rangers say like he's getting acting lessons. To bad he started with Troy :lol
I enjoyed this episode. Didn't care much for last week's because the Captain Planet messages were to strong there, but this week was more about the team coming together. Much better. The unmorphed fight was fun. The Rangers show a surprising amount of character when they fight unmorphed. Need more of that. The episode alternated betwwen "It's Morphing Time" and "Go Go Megaforce" in this episode with "It's Morphing Time" only being used when the full team is present. I hope they keep it that way. Using both at the same time is just redundant (though I'd be happier if they'd just drop "Go Go Megaforce" altogether). Also, Mr. Burley is proving to be a great comedic relief. I hope denying him toasted sandwiches becomes a running gag. PS Robo Knight's draw pile is in his crotch. I need an adult! |
I enjoyed it. Yeah, RoboKnight's voice is annoying. Somewhat "redneck" even. Too much of a drawl. However, I did enjoy the new scenes that were custom made. You can tell a lot of work went into them.

I really enjoyed this episode! It was great all around. Not perfect, but I have no complaints. I started thinking though as I'm a Gokaiger fanboy I will do my best to separate it from Super Megaforce because I am enjoying this show and that may have a lot to do with not watching Goseiger.

I voted "Average" because I think the earlier episodes were better, though none were as bad as the last episode (eek). Not the best way to end on a hiatus, but hey, it is what it is.

Okay is it just me or did the acting in this episode seem….especially bad?
|
Just got around to watching this episode and I cannot believe anyone else hasn't mentioned this:
"Some scientists believe dreams predict the future!" Are you kidding me!? Everyone in the room watching screamed "WHAT THE F***!?" at that line. It was just so dumb and was just there, I can't believe a line that stupid got past the editting. Otherwise the episode was OK, Megaforce is absolutely mediocre compared to to most PR and SS seasons, but as "meh" as Megaforce is with its bland acting and bland story lines, this one wasn't actually bad. At least it felt like there was a proper story going on. I still hate how they're handling Robo-Knight and Troy's actor is just god awful (even amongst the rest of the actors who are pretty bad), but there was nothing especially bad about the episode itself. |
>O When is the next episode!?!
