Worst Switch Design?
 

We've now seen 39 out of the forty promised Switches. Some of them were cool, some of them were weird and some of them I can't even remember because they were used so scarcely.


What Switch did you think had the strangest design?


My vote has to go to "Giant Foot." What the hell was Kengo Sr. thinking?!

Camera is the worst. I mean, what's the point?

I have to agree camera was pretty lame, at least with most of the stupid ones they turned out to be awesome in practice. Beat didn't really do much for me either.

Medical... Used once yet it cures anything related to cosmic energies... Why no use more!!

The foot hand thing, I forgot what it was called, but to me that always seemed the most pointless and weird. I mean...he already has an extendo-hand add on.

It can probably be used to cure Ryusei's friend since he was injured by the Astro Switch so he probably suffered cosmic damages, but Ryusei never told Gentaro about it.

Yeah, that would be my vote.

Other choices would be Camera (Burgermeals record everything and don't take up an arm doing so), Board (Like a more useless version of Wheel), and Net (For actual bad design).

A lot of the switches seems either pointless, weird, or redundant actually. Even more so, now that we're getting closer and closer to switch 40, which means that Kengo's dad probably went mad the closer and closer he got to switch 40.

The problem was that he made Rocket, Gatling, and Chainsaw so early.
Things could only go down hill from there :lol

Hmmmm, worst design, I don't hate any of the switch designs they ways some of them activate are cool, unless you mean the actual power, then hand I guess

I liked the idea of net, but the fact it was made a leg switch absolutely killed it for me.

Yeah, a lot of these switch placements are just so weird. This is one show I'd love to know what exactly the thought process was when they came up with half these switches

IMO , i think that beat is the worst ... HOW IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU KILL SOMEONE WITH A SONG ????????? "die mr zodiat pleaeaease " ..... LOL

Beat is one of those hidden gems that I wish they used more often.
I don't think you quite realize how much you use your ears and sound to just function...

Bringing this thread back up to complain about Stamper's actual Switch design. Putting prongs in the button is just silly.

Water: Good idea, but awkward execution. You'd think they would put more thought into how Water would work.

Wheel: Just no. It looks both painful AND awkward to use.

Even Gen pointed out that it's dumb that the spout on Water pointed downward when it's a leg switch.

And Wheel is a lot better than Board.
Also, at least Wheel has the rare designation of being on the right appendage.

I think Board's not as bad as people think it is. After seeing it in action in episode 42 has proven it's a useful tool and has functions that Wheel is unable to do.

I still stand by Wheel being poorly designed.

Not really. He didn't do anything with it.
And you could argue that, sans camera, he's proven that, in the right scenario, all the switches could qualify as useful tools.

Is bloody useless. Wheel, Prop, screw, and rocket can eaily cover anything this can do.

Cosmic Switch is what saved the stupid switches from being stupid.

Pen...a flipping pen and ink? a MAGIC paint brush, on the foot? I could almost see Wizard using that...
Rocket States, I'm sorry but you lose use for the arms, he can't even save a kitten from a tree in that...

Now... I didn't watch the movie, so I have no idea how, or if they explained this but Rocket States, when he activates the switch and gains the rockets on each hands, how does he turn it off? Does he just start smashing the belt with one of his rockets? Does he get somebody to switch him off? Wait a second, this must be what the Hand switch is for! XD

Actually, one of the rockets just splits off his hand for a moment.

All of the people hating on Board lose ten radical points. That made the Meteor Star useful.

I like Board too and too be quite honest don't see why people like Wheel so much. As I've stated before it looks uncomfortable as hell and doesn't seem like it takes rough terrain well. Board can hover, travel on the ground with fiction and can used to attack Zodiarts somewhat. Plus if he wants to go fast he should just get on his bike. Gen's a Kamen Rider not a Kamen Segwayer.

I used to think it was Camera, or Hopper. But.

They can be quite useful. Hopper to gain height, by leaping between two buildings say, when Rocket isn't an option. Or inside a building. Camera, if it has a thermal option, can be very useful.

But I absolutely defy you to give me a scenario where a hand coming off your leg is useful. Especailly when he already has Magic Hand for extended reach. And doesn't look as doofy.
