RoboKnight -> GokaiSilver - Just a thought
 

I was thinking that perhaps at some point towards the end of Season 1 Roboknight regains all his memories and then for his service in the great war he becomes human.

As a human with all his memories restored he remembers all about how to use the Ranger Keys and begins training the rangers on how to use them and shows them how by changing into Gokai Silver himself.

Thus him changing into Roboknight as a Gokaichange isn't as weird.

Just had this thought yesterday. I would love to hear what our community thinks of it.

It's possible.
I much prefer Robo Knight being a sentient zord, but eh, I can see this scenario happening.

I actually rather like that idea. But isn't Robo Knight a robot?

Perhaps his love for the environment and earth then extends to him wanting to fully enjoy it as humans do because humans are so special as Troy stated in the 1st episode. :p

That would be such a drastic change for Robo Knight to go from Captain Planet to hyperactive walking Power Rangers encyclopaedia. :lol

They pulled that crap with Mack in OO, so it would work more here with us knowing he is a robot, but i mean, if Roboknight was created years ago, like centuries ago, and the first team didnt appear till '93. how would that work?

Some rangers have been around for years. For example, we have no idea how long the Alien Rangers or Gold Ranger were around for, plus the original Samurai, Wild Force or Lost Galaxy Rangers were around long ago.

Or Robo Knight regains his memories right as he's destroyed.The rangers save his memories and implant them in a new body....

There is no reason to believe the character (wether Roboknight or not) that becomes Gokai Silver will be an overexcited fan boy like my main man Ikari Gai. As much as I love his character the Power Rangers version does not have to be like him at all.

That is all the more reason he would have a vast knowledge of all the Power Rangers to have come and gone if he has been around so long.

I still say it's gonna be Bulk's nephew from Samurai,only older.He was being raised to love the Power Rangers,and if you picture him older he'd have almost the same body build as Gai.

I'd be down for it, but only if he still makes all those sounds when he moves. :p

but if this takes place only one or two years after Samurai, i dont see how he could grow up that much?

Let's think about this.

"Spike" was 15 during Samurai.
Super Megaforce is 3 years after Samurai.
15+3=18.
Hey, that's about how old Gai's actor was during Gokaiger!

Hence the "mature" part.I chalk it up to puberty.Yes,this thread somehow went from Roboknight to puberty.lol.Anyways back on track.I just dont logically see them making GokaiSilver a serious character.They didn't make the Gold Ranger in Samurai serious and they knew he wasn't in Shinkenger.

Woah!!! Seeing them side by side... Ive always supported this idea becasue i enjoyed the humor Spike brought to the show and his chemistry with Bulk, but man, i didn't really take into consideration just how similar they look. Wow!

I would love to see him get a more developed role as the Silver Ranger and see him tone things down due to getting a bit older.

I really can't see Spike being a Power Ranger. Then again, Linkara said in his Power Rangers Zeo review for History of Power Rangers that Skull was one of the rumored candidates to become the Gold Ranger, so who knows. If Spike DOES become GokaiSilver, I have one suggestion to Saban:

Lose the annoying voice and make him decent for the other Megaforce Rangers to be around.

Sentai would be FURIOUS if that actually happened. :lolol

He wasn't really rumoured to be the Gold Ranger, the idea was just thrown around in one episode as a red herring.

I was thinking that exact same thing last night when I saw those pics of the Megaforce rangers and GokaiSilver together! But there is one issue with this idea. It requires RoboKnight to have character development. Can Saban do it?

I think both of these actors have had the same plastic surgery. They look very similar....

Great question, Spada, but I think we all know the answer to that. My guess is at the very least should they go this route they will cram the development all into 1 episode or at least a 2 parter if we are lucky right before the legend war to justify the change for next season. Im being very optimistic here, I know.
