And Gentarro lives again!

We've only got a preview for now but after last weeks killer (pun?) episode this one looks to be even better.

Anyone else felt they waited too long to reveal Meteor's identity?

I'd probably feel that way had I watched the show every week, but since I did a marathon from the 1st till now, it happened exactly where it's supposed to, the impact was immense.

I just watched a clip of the episode, and honestly can't wait for the subs now. The cosmic states debut was absolutely epic.

Watched the RAW. I want this episode subbed so badly. There are so many amazing, epic parts. It's like a huge chapter in Fourze just ended, a new one is about to start, and we've shifted from 3rd gear right in to 4th with a wide open road ahead of us.

Fourze has my attention 100%, I don't even bother with Gobuster right now.

Just saw the RAW myself and holy mother of god. Dat Cosmic States henshin. That was magnificent. Easily the best debut of a rider's final form that I think I've ever seen. SO exciting and such a good episode overall. Can't wait for the sub.

Love the cosmic states theme song too,also the switch combo system and how they sold the fact that even in cosmic states his new sword was extremely powerful by making him open and close it slowly.When they first showed the first images of it on here,I totally called the touch screen thing.I-chest?lol

This was probably the best episode of Fourze yet. I hope the show can keep up this level of awesome from here on out.

Wow, Cosmic States is awesome. I love how he's able to combine switches, that brings a whole lot of possibilities to the table. I do feel it was a bit to early for Ryusei to get the Meteor belt back, they should have waited a few episodes and had him have to earn it from Tachibana. Also, next week EDO KITA!

Without a doubt, the best episode of the series, and Cosmic State's debut easily trump Meteor Storm's in not just the design but power-wise. After the build-up of Aries, especially of his power even over fellow Horoscope Libra, it's nice to see him getting a beatdown by Cosmic's amazing array of Astro Switches (he can mix & match!), as well as that awesome Limit Break. I'm still not totally buying Ryusei's forgiveness, because I think he deserves a harsher punishment, but I'm willing to let it slide and I hope Ryusei will do more to repent for his mistakes. Oh, and can they start shipping Ryusei and Tomoko already? It's so obvious that it's getting ridiculous lol.

That aside, this was a really good episode. How Cosmic State works is pretty cool, combining the powers of switches and what not. I'd love to see the extent it's taken to (Gatling+Pen, Chain Array+Spike, Hammer+Giant Foot, etc).
Ryusei kinda got off easy, but he did get his ass whooped, so I guess he didn't get off completely scot-free.
It was nice seeing Kengo using the switch device and Medical again, too.

Freaking amazing!

First off, and a very very minor niggle...the friendship thing was a tad too cheesy but eh i guess it was to be expected.

The rest of the episode was epic. Ryusei can finally stop being a douche and be the nice guy that we got glimpses of every now and then all the time. I thought the scene of him breaking down in the street was really powerful, same as Kengo crying after he revived Gen and Shun trying to take Ryusei out with the dizer.

Cosmic states is incredible. The whole combo switch thing, warping... giant fire blades just so much win and i look forward to the ridiculous combos we could get. The henshin jingle was awesome too, and if the DX barizun sword makes the robot opera noises then i will have to buy it =p

Oh man, dat Cosmic States. REALLY looking forward to the switch combos that can potentially come out of that.

Like people have said, this has definitely been the best episode of Fourze so far. I'm a little disappointed the Gentaro/Ryusei handshake wasn't done transformed, but I guess there's still time for that to happen in the future.

Also, a little detail but I really liked that JK was the first one to stand up against Aries in the script scene. Nice to see him doing something other than being a coward.

Well, the problem of this is that Tachibana had taken away Ryusei's ability to become Meteor, so it just isn't possible in this episode.

Also there's just more impact to it when you see them do that un-henshin'd.

I knew that. I was just saying I thought it would have been cooler like that.

Meh. I think seeing two Kamen Riders do it would have a pretty big impact especially when they were duking it out last week. But like I said there's still plenty of time for that.

I think Fourze has surpassed Gobuster, and with this last episode, surpassed a lot of Gokaiger as well. Fourze has snuck up as one of the best Tokusatsu series in a long, long time.

Well, to be fair, Gobuster is only 9 episodes in and they haven't even introduced Beet & Stag Busters yet. But as someone who likes Fourze from the start, I think this show has went from whimsical and even cartoony at times, to a serious Kamen Rider series (well, when Ohsugi isn't on the screen, that is) that even deals with life-and-death. And the fight scenes have progressively gotten better and more creative. I don't know if Fourze can upstage my favorite Rider series, Kamen Rider W, but if this pattern continues I think it can mount a serious challenge for the crown.

It had a good story, and it looks like the writers are willing to tell us more about Gentaro...

Ok, I know I watched it already with the RAW file, but when I watched the subbed version again, I got goose bumps when Gentarou was revived, SUCH A GREAT SHOW!!

I just have one question after watching it another time and caught something that bothered me.Just a small thing but still......why does he have switch 40 on his chest in cosmic states? Isn't it in the driver anyways and when he uses it with the sword it just does the limit break,so why is it on the chest?

Well, since the switches are divided into four sections, and each section holds 10 switches, won't it be weird if one of the sections have only 9 switches on it?

OH MY GOD, NEED BARIZUN SWORD NOW! i really enjoyed the episode, the fighting and choreography were really well done, FINALLY, RYUSEI AND GENTARO ARE FIGHTING TOGETHER! I will admit, fourze might actually top den-o as my favorite rider series..... hell i even got my friend to watch it, and he has seen only a little bit of W.... Needless to say, METEOR FUCKING ROCKS! also, i need the aries zodiart's figuart NOW! also, i might make a thread about possible switch combos in cosmic states, anyone wanna help me with that?

NEXT WEEK: LEO!!!!!!!!!! and toei's over used feudal japan set!

One detail I loved was that Kengo, of all people, is the one who's all distraught over Gentarou's death, and who is trying to save him.

Really shows how his character has grown over the series so far.

And was I the only one who got chills by Virgo's "almost as powerful as me" line?

We did see Virgo fighting with Meteor many episodes ago, and while she has flight and projectile attacks, as well as her staff and teleportation, I'm not sure what makes her on par or more powerful than Cosmic State. It could be that she hasn't revealed all her powers yet, as she (along with Leo) are the most mysterious up to this point.

Yes! At that moment I let out a very loud "OH MAN!"

One thing I am wondering, has Kengo's mystery illness been completely forgotten? He hasn't fainted in a long time...

I loved this episode, and whoever said it both things were right he got revived through the power of friendship and the cosmic switch, kinda funny how switches work, how some of them need to respond to people's feeling for each other in order to work, I don't get how they could forgive Ryusei so easily, I mean Gentarou I can understand, but everyone else? I don't know, Cosmic States was pretty cool, although it is a little silly looking, I thought the fight scene was pretty cool, and Ryusei's was cool too, that dude took a beating, Interesting how Tachibana provided Kengo with the switch to open up the Rabbit Hutch and as I said earlier, I liked how it Was Kengo who ran towards Gentarou when he died, and tried to revive him, it shows how far he's come since the beginning of the series

Lesson learned, never underestimate the power of friendship, it can bring you back to life AND unlock the potential of the universe :D

I don't think it's been forgotten, just that he's doing a lot less now that the KRC is in place. He was running around making switches, testing fourze, running the power dizer, making foodroids etc etc... There's obviously a lot less stress on him physically now so thats possibly why its faded into the background.

Apparently friendship still can't get Gentaro a girlfriend, though. :p

Wasn't Miu basically begging to get him in the sack? Or at least dance with him at Prom?

And is Fourze better than Gokaiger?

Well, I'd say comparing the two series at the same point in episodes ... yes, Fourze at 32 is better than Gokaiger at 32. But it's going to be about how Fourze finishes that counts. We still have a lot of Horoscopes to go through, and the final power-up has already been shown.
