This is a cool looking figure , I will give it that. Love the jaws looking stand it comes with. Makes me think there is hope for Aqua and Poseidon!

Why are we getting this guy when they still need to give us actual Ryuki riders that were in the show such as Impaler? And then Femme from the movie?

I'll pass and save my money for REAL Ryuki riders.

Patience mate :), i believe they will, but i do agree though, any rider from the series & movie should come first, nonetheless it's still a great looking figure.

Mass release? I'm down. I've always loved Abyss' design.

I think it's a bit strange that Abyss, a Rider from a show that's 4 years old by now ended up as a mass retail release. Not that I'm compaining…this guy can go with my Decade Riders.

Awesome. Now I just need to decide if he goes next to Decade or on my Ryuki shelf.

He might not be an official Ryuki Rider but he's awesome as hell and will fit in easily so I'm not seeing a problem.

So a mass release for one of my favorite Ryuki designs I am totally down for that!

You know what, why not? Figuarts releases these past few years have been riddled with predictability and dissappointment with who is retail or not. I'm happy to see TamashiiNations willing to gamble on a one guy that wasn't even part of the original series. And he's shark based so that's makes me like it more.

Okay well Imperer as it's actually spelled, and Femme, Alternative, Odin, and Scissors were already announced, and shown off at toy shows, and in magazine scans. The only ones without firm release dates being Imp and Femme at the moment. So they ARE happening, so I don't see what all the fuss is about. Abyss has the exact same amount of screen time as the obscure Ryuki move riders and people still gushed when those were announced.

Femme, Ryuga, and Verde were in 2 movies, not even the entirety of each movie. Abyss was in 2 episodes of Decade. He has just as much credit to get released as any other Ryuki rider.
I can't argue that it's weird as hell for him to be retail, but I greatly welcome it :D

Never really knew about this guy. Well, I'm pretty sure he had a few seconds in Dragon Knight as a generic monster enemy, which was weird considering he looked like a Rider. I guess it turns out he is! He's got a nice design so I'll definitely get him.

More random than anything. If they can mass release this guy, I don't know why some of the Ryuki Riders themselves had to be exclusives.

Abyss looking mighty nice in figure form. I've always liked that design.

Abyss is pretty cool. I liked him a lot more than some other riders from Ryuki, and he's got a much better design than some from the show, like Scissors, so I'm very happy to have him available to us.

Of course, I'd be getting him either way, but I'm glad he's a mass release, so much easier to get that way, and cheaper. Can't wait.

He'll be displayed with the rest of my Ryuki figures.

Only three Ryuki figures have come with their monsters, and one is a repaint of the first. And considering its size, I'm still amazed that Dragredder came with Ryuki. As long as they release them eventually, I don't need the Contract Monsters packed in with every figure.

Oh yeah, and now Odin, okay, 4 come with their monsters. My point stands, it's still less than half of them.

But his monsters are literally person sized. Including them would mean you'd be buying a 4-pack of full sized Figuarts. First you complain that he's happening at all, now your nitpicking him not coming with his monster, or rather 4 full monsters, when half the Ryuki rider releases up to this point don't come with theirs already because of size limitations.

That's just bad romanization. You could also argue that it should be called a "Mobilate" or a "Buddyloid" if we're going off official spellings from the merchandise. It was clearly pronounced Impaler in the series and he predictably used impaling attacks with his horns.

I'm not going to complain about this guy coming out before any of the other Riders, but it does seem like an odd choice to make him a regular when he isn't technically a part of the Ryuki line. I'd have much rather seen the main series guys released first, then the movie ones after.

I don't understand why so many people are all "boo he's not a proper Ryuki rider he's taking the place of someone else etc." Just treat him as a Decade Rider then if that's how you feel, it's not like people act like Kivala is a Kiva character.

So it'd be a 3 pack with him, Slasher, and Hammer or a 2 pack with him and Abyssodon.

And I'm nitpicking because this just means this is 2 (Possibly 3, if they split up Slasher and Hammer) more possible releases to go through before the other Ryuki Riders.

My hatred occurs for a reason. People complained Kibaranger's Bluefin release will be gimped because it doesn't include a minute detail.
No, my friends. Abyss not including any mirror monsters is a gimped release.

But it isn't when Tiger, Raia, Ouja, Gai, Verde didn't include their monsters. And most likely Femme, Imperer, and Alternative won't include their monsters either. All based on packaging limitations. It's gimped when an accessory that's supposed to come with an item in it's first release is removed from the American one. This is an entirely different situation.

I don't watch Kamen Rider but this guy looks cool! I want him. haha

Raia, Ohja, and Gai get a pass because Genocider.
But I do consider Zolda and Tiger getting gypped.
Alternative had a monster? And if Odin can come with Goldphoenix, I'm pretty sure Femme can come with the swan thing whose name I can't remember.

I'm unsure on Imperer, what with having an entire freaking herd of [Blank]Zelles.

I consider the Ryuki riders not coming with their contract monsters to fall under "Gimped" more than removing a design piece that was only added on a show not even airing in that continent.

Yeah I don't get the "I don't think he should be released instead of someone else!" argument. Before this out-of-nowhere announcement, it wasn't as if we were all expecting another September figure were we? Bandai's not going to release one less Kamen Rider than planned because they released this dude.

If anything it's one less Rider to consider before they start doing the ones everyone seems to want more :lol

I like this guy and i wouldnt mind buying a 2 pack of his contract monsters. Im sure they might just use the gigazelle body for them.

It's a curveball. It doesn't mean there's more of a priority over another Rider or series.

And you can't "gimp" something if it's the original release. Not every Rider is going to come with a mirror monster, or your favorite one-time, no name accessory. It seems selfish to pitch a fit over little things like that.

I'm not very knowledgeable with Kamen Rider. I just like the costume designs.

But this shark themed dude sure looks cool. Much cooler than that 3-sea creature themed guy with the legs that become tentacles.

It's the number one complaint towards the Agito release and why Diend Complete came with the closed gun despite no real reason to.

I don't like Abyss, but I like his suit design a lot. I don't get the complaints either. I hope this does well, because it might bring us one step closer to getting Kivara.

I'm not sure what your issue is with Diend Complete's closed gun. I use it for Diend and holding a card as if he's about to load the gun.

And there's a difference between being selfish and just bitching. You don't even like Decade, but you're posting in a Decade Rider thread using another Decade Rider to try to back up your point. I think.

I don't have an issue with Diend Complete including the closed gun. The point was the original Diend was a gimped release by not including it to begin with.

But as a consumer and collector of these toys, in a thread about one particular toy, with my primary problem being the lack of him including a specific portion, what does my disdain towards Decade have to do with any of this?

Alternative is a pseudo-rider from Ryuki. Odin is sort of the final boss all powerful rider from Ryuki. Ryuga, Verde, and Femme are movie exclusive riders from Ryuki. Imperer and Scissors are no name riders who don't do much in the Ryuki show.

Aqua and Poseidon are from the OOO & Fourze MEgamax movie. Poseidon is the evil rider possessing Aqua's Body. Once Aqua is free the 2 of them exist independantly. Aqua is the good guy, his rider bike is a jet ski. Which is awesome :D
Don't confuse him, those aren't all Ryuki riders dude.

And Poseidon was a great design. Need Figuarts Poseidon, please.
